south Sligo here reporting at 18:00 hours @16.5'c with a pretty chilly breeze - open up house window and it feels like you have opened a freezer door!

Not bad, currently 19.2C from a high of 20.2C. Cloudy for the most part but sunny breaks now and again like atm. Quite breezy and windy down at the beach but great waves today and had mighty crack with the boogie board :)

It was nice to get a break from the heat in Galway but I am already looking forward to the reload.

Are we on course for another 1995?

Humid and sticky in Cork City compared to the coast i just came from, the difference is surreal. Not as much of a fresh breeze here.

North Dublin, 20c and a cool northeast breeze.

    Very pleasant.

Someone mentioned the clothes drying. The washing takes longer than the drying. :)

If the ECM 0z verified, I wouldn't be surprised. That really was an intense ridge it showed.

Spent a very pleasant afternoon on the beach in Tramore. Not too hot, lots of cloud cover but it was really nice.
22 degrees in waterford city at the moment.

So muggy & heavy in cork city. Feels a lot warmer even though there’s plenty cloud cover than it did during the week with no clouds

Clouds are darker and more varied here now and I keep watching for rain, in vain. A stiff breeze also. West Mayo, offshore island

It was the warm end that made it relatively warmer.

The big drop in temps was refreshing here today but the land needs rain, starting to see orange patches develop in the fields, last time i seen that around here was summer of 95. South sligo.

Devon in Cornwall had just under an inch of rain today courtesy of that low from Biscay. You could see on the radar that the showers moved up over South Wales and literally evaporated before getting anywhere near Ireland.

Was cooler here in cork in the breeze but humidity feels way up today so inside or out of the breeze actually felt warmer than any other day

Very strong wind gusts from the North in Cavan town. Met latest reports of 8 knots misleading

A lot of smoke over Enniscorthy now, somewhere has gone up in flames. You can get the distinct smell of burning vegetation.

Today was definitely cooler but very high humidity.
2003 is the nicest summer I’m old enough to remember but it wasn’t as good as this for as long
