    So what should they have done?
    Not corner him...
    Not ask for the publics help in locating them?
    Allow him his time with the girl he dragged off the street......and hope for the best?

    This Feckin thread is full of ifs, the man was armed according to reports. Let's wait for the full story before looking to kick the Gardai. I'm not their biggest fans however from what I've read and seen today, they've done well.
