Sligo scraped past newly promoted UCD at home at the weekend, a UCD missing a couple of their best players and by all accounts UCD deserved at least a point. It's evident the Sligo team haven't gelled as of yet and Rovers should make light work of this fixture.
The newly promoted teams fixture is our other bet - both teams yet to win and will be both aiming for a win here. We don't think UCD will lose here so a refund at worst.

Not much to say about Derry, should be on paper stronger than Sligo, Declan Devine said post season he wants the Brandywell to be a fortress which they started well with two wins but lost last time out at home to current Champions Dundalk. The SLigo game is a chance to bounce back against a Sligo who've had a shaky start and don't look to have clicked as of yet. Sligo may be missing stand out player Leverock who captained Bermuda during the week in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualification in Dominican Republic.

Top of the table Shamrock Rovers host second from bottom UCD. Rovers with a flying start to the season, 7 points clear at the top (2 games extra played). With a tough few League games coming up Rovers will want to win and win well in a game on paper they should win.

Two winners... Rovers left it until the last kick of the game to make it 3-1 but bearing in mind they conceded a goal to UCDs only shot on target! Happy days either way!
