    Yes. It's implicit consent

Depends just how many pints "a few" is.

I woke up in Galway after going for a few pints in Dublin once, but I think Berlin
    would be stretching it.

Anyone any good reccomendations for Berlin, pints/rugby-wise?

Remember walking into a bar in Berlin and they were playing porno on the big screens, some lad with a very large whopper giving this girl a really good seeing to.

If you stumble upon a similar place, they probably won't show the rugby.

While I initially love the idea... it strikes me a something that might possibly stoke the fires of a poster's antagonistic streak. One might take a dislike to something said on the "neutral political thread" and it carries over to normal threads.

That being said the possibility of this is less likely here given we're civlised human beings and not absolute nutjobs like the lads on politics or after hours.

Boards lets you (or used to let you) have a private invite only sub-board, is that still a thing? Could be a way to keep the riff raff out.

I'd love this for the world cup, but that's me being selfish. Drawing the regular posters off the main board would pretty much ruin it.

As expected Christian Wade didn't make the Bills' 53 man roster. Now another team can sign him or he goes onto the Bills' practice squad which means he's the equivalent of a tackle bag holder.

How much do the practice squad members make generally, do you know?

Minimum is 8k a week, if they stay on the practice squad roster for a full season it's around 136k for the year.

They can get paid more obviously if there's other teams interested etc, in some cases skill positions can get up to around 30k a week or 3-400k a year, but the most Wade is looking at is probably around 200k.

Kerry have missed two goal opportunities and a few points. This is only going one way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,610 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Cooper's a liability. Could be a swing now for Kerry.

Mindless stuff from him when he knows he's being watched closely

He really is. I wasn't sure about the penalty but that could have been a yellow too.

Joe Brolly saying Cooper's 2nd yellow should have been a Dublin free out. The more you watch it the more a yellow seems harsh

It’s a blatant yellow. Total nonsense from
Brolly. Clifford moves in ahead of him and is dragged down - not debatable

****e. That goal kinda came out of nowhere. Thought Dublin were pulling away there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,610 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Not sure about that Hawkeye call, looked like the majority of the ball was inside the post.

Dublin win this on a replay anyway.

Agreed. You have to feel that was Kerry's chance and they didn't get it done. Three missed goal chances including one awfully taken penalty (Cluxton coming off his line aside) as well as numerous missed points.

Enthralling contest overall but you'd fancy the Dubs to win by 6-9 points in the replay.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,212 ✭✭✭ClanofLams

Kerry left it after them, trying to hold ball one point up with seven to go was lunacy.

Must be some sickener for lads outside the 26 busting their hole all year to see Diarmuid Connolly coming on

New fleet of 201-D cars for the lads anyway :P

That seemed like Kerry's best chance through with the red card.

Kerry choked. They'll never get a handier chance than that. 14 men and a ref who couldn't have given them much more.
