well thats ok, I only ever used the gdax end of things for buying btc/eth.
The way garrotted was replying, it seemed to me that he was saying there were expenses involved in moving euros back to your bank.

I could be wrong here, but if you transfer your GDAX BTC or ETH to a CoinBase euro wallet, your selling at the Coinbase exchange rate, which is expensive.

I see Verge is continuing to pump based on rumours of a mystery partnership with a big company (can't say who yet...just keep buying our coin) and a guy tweeting that a XVG debit card is likely with a partnership with a German bank.

Anyone here believe that they will deliver on any of these promises?

    Not according to this video!

The wise course of action for any verge holder would be to sell just before the details of the partnership are released ;)

That's the best plan of action for these big announcements and airdrops.

    Hi,

Yes, you can certainly do that, if you actually want to get your dosh completely out of cryptos, with Coinbase able to transfer the Euros back to your current account etc. However, Coinbase is not particularly cheap, so I'd be slow to do it on a regular basis.

I probably should have been a little more clear when I mentioned cashing out of EOS above, what I actually did was sold and put the funds into USDT (Tether US) on a temporary basis. I've since moved some of the money back into other cryptos, but left some in Tether until I try and decide what to do with it next.

Thanks, so moving to tether triggers cgt I guess? ...

My understanding is that every individual transaction that results in a profit, generates a potential CGT liability.

There is then the timing of submitting your CGT returns and any CGT allowances or tax losses carried forward to consider.

    Thanks,

    G.

Based on the hype this is going to be a MASSIVE corporate partnership. My money is on Amazon or Microsoft.

.... or ITs yet another scam and the announcement will amount to nothing.

Like that chancer involved in Tron. He is one of the leading thought leaders in making millions by marketing a shîtcoin using lies, rumours, and speculation. A partnership with Microsoft usually involves signing up for an Azure trial.

Some of the vergins are going to be losing their crypto virginity pretty soon. By getting viciously rode up the hole by some scammer.

This announcement has failed to excite the market.

Bit of a limp dick announcement.

There was a gaping hole in their plan.

Not so much bag holders, as sack holders.

Was sitting in the jacks of an airport this morning, and sold all my XVG.

Got off the flight, and saw the news.

Best **** and best sell of my life.

Sold all at .09c. Originally bought at .002c back in Sept.

I don't think I have ever seen one of these announcements turn out good.

A bit graphic in your imagery but you've hit the nail on the head there, pal.

What the fúck is this announcement about? Seems the Verge 'developers' asked their 'community' to stump up 3 million dollars so they could work on partnering with a 'household' name. Price went through the roof, then a big dump happened before the announcement; then the announcement was made, and the price crashed. Standard pump and dumps happening at the moment.

Turns out Vergins can pay for porn on a network of sites who offer 90% of their content for free anyway. But they have to pay up front, and don't get a free month like they would if they paid for a year of 'one-handed browsing' using dirty FIAT.

Beginning to think this whole thing was plotted in a suite in Las Vegas while the owners of both sites were up to their tits in tits and cocaine. Laughing at the easy money.

Good man Honeybadger! Delighted to hear it. Hope you made a nice bit of wonga.

Well done on taking the advice I have been giving regarding Verge for the last few days and weeks. It's great to see someone get ahead of the shysters.

There's a petition to get verge on coinbase that's close to reaching 15k signatures but like that will do anything.

But I've seen this being shared, must be a fake

Doubt very much that Coinbase would be interested in something like Verge. Still find it mad that they decided to add BCash to their portfolio.

GRS has just jumped over 200% in the last hour or so.

Either big news or a big dump is coming.

No workable product, shít standard website (whitepaper, team, roadmap, ICO offering) etc. Some updates on bitcointalk recently. Pump and dump. Standard telegraph/4chan stuff. Dentacoin is up 33% percent as well. A coin created to use blockchain for dentistry. Jesus Christ.

What is likely from the token available? OMG/BAT come to mind straight away.

Edit - Well the market certainly thinks BAT is a lock. Look at those green dildos :)

    Weeeeeeeeeee :D

All coming from the CEO of coinbase Brian Armstrong giving some clear signals on twitter towards BAT being a real contender to get added. He has already mentioned pubically previous to this his admiration for the BAT project by name. Then he was rambling this stuff on twitter today.

I probably should sell off at these prices but it would kill me if this gets added to Coinbase and I had sold it. This isn't one of those pie in the sky coinbase rumours either. It really has a shot.

Nice to see BAT jump up, what a nice surprise. Finally seeing a turn around over the past week or so.
