So much for the 60% success rate in this one if this thread is anything to go on.

I used airbnb and got a one bed apartment in the centre for €70 a night for myself, the missus and one of our nippers, worth a look. We are flying in on Thursday and coming back on Monday, hoping to do a little sightseeing before the race.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

I heard Frankfurt is an awful city to visit, might see if anything is on in Belgium.

Not the prettiest of cities but race is well organized. Have ran it 4 times and hotels are cheap.can get three nights over for the price of one in Dublin.

Probably as flat as Berlin with only a 12,000 strong field.not a marathon for sites but for a time I'd recommend it.will probably be my 5th time there next October.

    Absolute jam basket! Congrats.

Anyone else trying on Thursday morning for one of the 1000 entries?

I wonder will they accept one for all vouchers because my wife has absolutely raided the bank account.

Don't think I'll bother. I've think I've decided to do Cork and Frankfurt/Amsterdam.

I'd recommend Frankfurt over Amsterdam. Very well organised race, loads of space. Amsterdam is quite tight at the start. I'll head back to Frankfurt next year if I dont get one of these entries on Thursday.
