Think Briege needs to be put on - would be a huge lift from a Cork perspective

Some awful distribution by Thompson today, a real pity.

Numerous times Aisling Thompson has hit a long ball but hasn't found a teammate

They keep putting the ball in to the corners but the 2 forwards are too central. Appalling tactics. Either spread the 2 forwards out or put the ball in centrally.

No he just gifted cork the win with the last 2 frees which were never frees.

Brutal game. Cork deserved it just though

Disgraceful refereeing decisions handed the victory to Cork.

What happened Paudie Murray - nice cut over his eye at the end of the game

Ref was awful throughout the game.

That said Cork were the better team and are deserving All Ireland Champions again.

Kk playing so defensively from the outset despite playing with the wind, glad that type of tactic loses.

Is that Anna geary doing the post match interview ?

Great to win but like Northern football there was plenty intensity but little enough free flowing play

I'm guessing he banged heads in celebrating.

Come on, everyone here was saying the ref was bad. Look back at the posts.

I wouldn't call them disgraceful just finicky and he did it to both teams.

Cork just about deserved it.KKs tactics don't deserve anything in my view.If Cork played that way I would say the same thing.

The ladies are a credit to Cork. Next year, they will be going for the 3 in a row!

Ref gave harsh calls against both sides all through. Difference in the end was Cork had someone to put them over. Kilkenny had some terrible wides, particularly from the soft frees.

Cork did play the same way and if it wasn't for the one sided commentary by RTE people might have realised that.

Yes, must be a little weird for her interviewing players she soldiered with for so long, and in actual fact could still be going with

True but also for Reena up in studio, probably a surreal feeling for both of them.

Cork did so more in the second half - I think both teams were so intent on not conceding goals, it played into that type of game.

Not the prettiest of games, not the best of refereeing as he was very fussy and could have left the advantage go a number of times - but we'll take it

Would have loved to have seen Briege win her record tying medal on the pitch but hey ho. Niamh McCarthy had her knee heavily bandaged coming on - as a u14 hands down the most talented camogie player in the county, but injury has hampered her at times

The Ref was very poor. The game was always going to be tight but he made it miserable. Advantage is there for the purpose of allowing play to continue. Any booking and the inter county player got a five minute lecture.
Great Cork won esp with the totally negative set up of KK in the fires half.

Paudie must have gotten a headbutt from Angela.

I saw a clip at the end and I think it was a bang from a photographer's camera that did the damage.

Orla Cotter wins player of the match, delighted for her.

It would have been between Orla and Chloe. Chloe's 3 points kept Cork in the match. Orla also won a lot of the frees she herself converted.
