Redmonds are the canary in the coal mine. Delaneys and Lough Rovers don't field underage either. Brian Dillons field at U12 only. Mayfield/Vincents put in an effort in fairness but struggle to keep underage side together as they go up the ages. If you dont have an underage you dont have a longterm future.

Very true. Delanys haven't had an underage set up in a long time. However in the last 3 or 4 years a huge effort has been put in and we now have a couple of teams, u8, u9 age group. A lot of work has been put into the Ladies side of things aswell and this is bearing fruit. Recently it has been announced an agreement where St Vincent's girls can play football with Delanys and any Delanys girls that want to do Camogie will play with Vincent's. This is the kind of set up that clubs now have to try to keep the flag flying.

Great win for Delanys in the county Jnr A football, 4 down at ht but won by 3 v Tadhg McCarthaigh

Piarsaigh will be happy campers having survived the senior relegation game v Carrigtohill, by a point. They've been destroyed in a few games recently including their intermediates shipping 7 goals.
Barrs beat douglas in the football by a goal, nice for them considering their hurlers loss to the Rockies last week

    Carbery Rangers 1-18 Clonakilty 0-11.

Haven giving Nemo a pasting in the 2nd game, 1-10 to 0-3 after 50min. Castlehaven lead 0-3 to 0-0 at HT and had 1-7 on the board before Nemo scored their first.

Finished 1-11 v 0-04 that must be a record low scoreline for Nemo in a Senior championship match.

when you see Donnacha o Connor Scoring 6 points for Duhallow and nobody else shining through you have to say Cork football is in crisis mode right now.

Pitch looks well, better and bigger than a lot of proper soccer pitches. Stadium looks very well.

IF and I mean IF it's true.

    That's scumbag behaviour

Ah now, if you're going to label everyone who throws a smack or two after a few drinks, on one occasion, a "scumbag" then you're talking about half the country.

If true she'll just have to live and learn and take her punishment on the chin, take a look at her drinking and turn this into a catalyst for positive change. These "scumbag" comments do no one any good.

Half the country ? Even if you win the lotto, I wouldn't have a pint with you.

Has half the country ended up in court?

I know nobody who have just random went kicking lumps out of others

I would say, let the Courts handle the matter. Anyone who has ever had depression should really limit their alcohol intake.
The world knows she has a short fuse.

she is a fine player all the same and helped Cork win All Ireland in style.

I've seen her in action before personally - should be allowed nowhere near alcohol

What chance have Redmonds if they have no underage?

When you see the numbers that the likes of Nemo and the Barrs have at u10, u12 etc, they all cant play on their adult teams.

Those who drop out or don't make teams as they progress up the ages should have the option to go to a club like Redmonds and keep playing into adulthood. Not sure if there would be the numbers to keep a club going though.

Personally, I'd prefer to be playing on the Junior team of a big club than the Junior team of a small club. I'm not familiar with Redmonds but can't imagine it has the facilities of a team like Nemo (gym, hall, clubhouse etc). As a more mature player, that matters more to me than being able to say I'm on the main team of the club.

What should matter is playing for the place your form not a big club
