Fantastic performance and to be fair while they were gifted 2 goals they seemed like they can still play better

Just a question about yer format. Can the teams from Senior B win the Cork Senior Hurling championship or is it only available to yer Senior A and Divisional teams.

In Galway we have Senior A and B(12 teams in each) but the top teams in Senior B(in reality there isn’t much difference between the two) can contest in the knockout of the Senior hurling championship.

I’ve always thought with the amount of clubs in Cork GAA it is probably tough to run smoothly.

Should be an interesting final.Kerry should really have won that semi. They had so many chances.Dropped a load of shots short and took a lot of shots from poor positions. They have won so many though that they were bound to have a bad day sometime.34 games unbeaten until today.

Really hope we can get over the line now and add the minor to the under 20!!

Davy Fitzgerald was asked if he'd have any interest in the Cork job and he said "I don't think they'd take me!"

Thats why we have sfa won in senior hurling since 2005. Kingston isnt the man to win us the All Ireland. If he was we wouldnt have folded against Waterford in 2017 semi final. Davy be worth a shot. What could we do worse at this stage then to give him a chance? Just my opinion not having a pop at anyone but are they seriously doing the best for Cork hurling with appointments that arent going to work? 15 years now and counting for senior All Ireland. We badly need to win u20 this year. 1998 is the last time cork won the u21 grade. Scary fact.

Tim o Mahony apparently destroyed the Blackrock full back even though he could hardly run surely he should be used as a forward in 2020 with Cork.

Blackrock once again flatter to deceive great win for Newtownshandrum.

Davy Fitz Cork manager?Get off the stage will ya.:D I think Kingston did a fine job as manager, he is highly thought off by the players, and we were winning against Waterford before the sending off.We have enough quality candidates, who are actually from Cork to do the job.

I have to say I find it ironic all the Kerry fans cribbing about the ref for the final.. the amount of times Cork have been robbed by refs while playing against Kerry is unbelievable and they used think it was hilarious..

1988 AI final was a Kerry ref and it cost us. To make it worse he got the replay:pac:

That should never have been allowed day one. Kerry ref shouldnt be left near a game that Cork were involved in. Cork GAA should not have agreed to it beforehand. He played over 7 mins of overtime and Cork lost the 1988 All ireland because of it.

    Tommy bloody Sugrue.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,832 ✭✭✭keano25

There's loads of examples over the years.. remember when Murphy got nailed by the mouthy Ozzie in the AI final.. stuck it in his book and all afterwards..

  • Registered Users Posts: 34,069 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

1976 I think when Kerry got a goal that never was and Barron had Guards surrounding him at full time whistle after a unreal goal was disallowed. 2007 the same. Not like they need it in Kerry like:pac:

What about Miko getting Paddy Collins down to Kerry training... They'd make ya laugh

  • Registered Users Posts: 802 ✭✭✭Rebel1977

It’s some joke by Tony Leen and the Kerry Examiner having 2 Kerry contributors on their podcast both having a go at David Gough where is the balance in that ?

I remember 88 vividly late free by Stafford but in recent times they had their favourite referee Marty Duffy who in 2009 left Tadhg Keneally assault Nicholas Murphy in the first minute go unpunished.

Dont think it was even a free, think the ref gave it for Davie Barry touching the ball on the ground, dont think he did. And as for that Tadhg fella........ what I didnt call him that day.

And then he did that Irish dance when collecting the cup.

If a sniper had shot him at that moment I don't think I have been upset

2009 was a tough watch from the get go..

2010 Limerick got rode by the ref against Kerry in the semi final... Ref is related to half of Glenbeigh apparently..
