Looks like they're maybe train and DART delays on Sunday due to works, etc.

Bus services seem to be running as normal, except with diversions for closed roads. Does anyone know more?

Looks like you can no longer put it own bag inside the marathon bag, all item must be loose for security reasons, hence the clear bags. Will have to roll the fresh undies in the towel soðŸ˜

Do they actually say anything about "security" and not having bag inside bags? They have had clear bags for London for several years, but plenty of people have their own bags stuffed inside the clear ones.

For anyone going to the expo later or tomorrow - they had free parking at Donnybrook church.

Also, what was with the was a big scientology stand at the expo?

Missed that one, I'm pleased to say! Once I had my bag, I wasn't really paying attention to stands on the way out. Best of luck on Sunday :)

It looked like a physio stand or something until you got up close - quite deceptive.

Thanks, good luck you too! I might make an appearance in McGrattans afterwards. If I can still stand.

Back from the expo. They emphasised that they won't accept rucksacks etc being put in the official bag hence why it is see through. So only individual items go in the bag.

    Hi All

My brother is running on Sunday and myself and some family are coming up from Cork to support him. We will be splitting into two groups and want to cover as much ground as possible. Where are good viewing spots? We are thinking Phoenix park and Milltown but not sure in between. Will the luas to Milltown be running?

Best of luck to everyone running

    Oh.

That's a problem for those of us going straight to the airport afterwards.

No darts from my (north)side due to works at all at all on Sunday

Who plans track works on one of the busiest days of the year in Dublin City Centre. The mind boggles.

I was part of the parkrun crowd manning the baggage area last year. We were told full backpacks couldn't be put into the clear kit bag but it was ok if the person emptied the backpack contents into the clear bag and then placed the empty backpack in the clear bag as well. Don't know if this has changed this year.

Any guarantee Dublin bikes will be functioning? They sometimes close down for big events.

Trains not all running due to works. Pity, as ideal way to get into and out of city.
Buses seem to all still be functioning, albeit diversions for the route. As far as I can tell?

The problem with buses for me is they dont start early enough. That southside dart is a special. My good lady will bring be in and a tide of emotional energy will sweep me home.....or the 29a

James Joyce bridge is a good spot and then if you're quick you'll catch him again turning back on to chesterfield Ave at the zoo, after that you could head up to chapelizod?

The park is always a good place to watch. We rented bikes last year. But as soon as we left park the roads narrowed and the footpath was too narrow. We got a taxi to Ballsbridge 25 mile Mark and had great vantage point. Seen all the elites and the pain on everyone's face was brilliant viewing.
