I'm in the 550s regards my oom...just wondering with drop out's...failed medical physical etc...Does your oom drop in account of these???

Lads honestly don't go on OOM, it has nothing to do with it at all when the application hits AGS. I'm waiting two years, I am reading people ahead of me getting offers. Don't go by OOM.

Hi everyone,

Posting on here for the first time in a while. Got an offer today and absolutely delighted but down to some circumstances I requested a deferral.

The response states that they've accepted it but that I may not get another place and may have to repeat physical and medical again.

Can someone who has deferred before please shine some light on this, is it true etc or what is your personal experiences. If you do not wish to post on the boards please pm me to discuss further

Hey delighted I got an offer today. Oom of 416, Sept 16 campaign.starting induction on the 29th of October. Originally stated the 23rd but that was a mistake.

Yes just came home from holidays today to it waiting for me, just general info on what to bring as well as some FAQ's and info on pension and that kind of thing. It's quite basic and said we'd get more info during orientation.

Cheers mate yeah received mine too. Doesn't mention anything about beards/ facial hair in it?

I'm from Sept 16' my OOM is 28 !

I was hoping for November but haven't heard anything yet. Bit gutted tbh !

When would the next intake be after the November one does anyone know?

I haven't posted much myself. To be honest didn't think I was going to get in. I'm from the January 2016 campaign and my OOM was 900 ish.

I think its relaint on multiple factors including OOM. Has your vetting cleared?

I got called for the November intake too. My oom from last September's campaign is 417.
My induction starts Tuesday 31st October...there have been a couple of different dates mentioned here but I presume we'll all be starting at the same time?
Can someone please set me up with the WhatsApp group?

Simple answer.

Beards/Facial hair = No. You will be told on day one so make the most of it while you have it!

Sorry about that but its standard practice in AGS and is enforced, you know yourself you never see a Guard with a beard.

If you get into cretin detective units such as drugs then it will be allowed but until then we have to start buying into Gillette again!
