Qotsa played here in 2015???? Surely that's Belfast? Last I remember is the Like Clockwork tour in the O2 in 2013..

So how come they are not playing the Picnic?

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

The Like Clockwork gigs were in Nov 2013. They returned for Belsonic in Aug 2014.
    Don't know the 2015 show.

Because they aren't in Europe then!

Its a bit stupid though having the gig in November more suited to a big music festival.

 The last time I saw them in Ireland was at the gig in the Point in November 2013. The gig didn't suffer at all for not having been at a festival.

They aren't doing the festival circuit this year, I don't see how that's stupid.

I'd have been raging if they played that EP crap. Their own arena headline show, as it should be.

    Absolutely BUZZING for this!!

Royal blood supporting in the US, hardly in Europe too seeing as they have their own date in the 3 arena?

Anyone know anything about a 3 presale? I can't find anything

I saw on Consequence of Sound the big headline of 'best tour of the year' with RB supporting QOTSA. Then it has to have North American tour.

Yeah Royal Blood play the Sunday after....long weekend perhaps! Doubt it'll be big support for the tour, maybe EODM are due the slot.

    Any presale codes?

Can't wait for this, saw them in the Point in '13 and the Ambassador in '08 and I was unable to hear for two days after due to being beside the PA.

Best band on the planet

Do security stop you if you want to go downstairs to the bar, toilet? They can hardly herd you back upstairs if you wander into the main area?

They check tickets going into the Standing Area, obviously if you have a seated ticket they dont allow you into the Standing Area ......

Yeah obviously when you're on your way in they do that but I don't recall them being so stringent once you're in. There's no bar upstairs is there?

was never an issue before the refurbishment but i would have thought they'd be more stricter now?
