You've twice ignored what I said in my posts, which destroys your argument, so stop trying. You made yet another completely inaccurate comment, one that is actually quite a serious allegation, you got caught out on it. Leave it at that.

Stop posting completely made up stuff, it's no good for discussion and in reality you can't do that.

Of course its possible something could happen here, now if some something does happen, its more likely to be from "ISIS sympathisers" with some notions rather than anything as a result of a directive from the group themselves (although they would probably claim responsibility either way as they usually do) but its still a lot more unlikely of it happening here than most of the rest of Europe. I know for a fact that there is a plan in place if such a thing in Dublin does happen, that certain roads will be shut and cleared within minutes for access to all hospitals and patients in hospitals who aren't in urgent care will be told to leave.

Another thing though, I see people here are saying that our forces have the most experience with terrorism in Europe and would deal just fine if something happened, frankly you guys are as deluded as the people living in fear that an attack at any moment in Ireland will occur if you actually believe that. Our forces dont have the numbers or expereience or even the resources to deal with an ongoing terrorist incident as remotely efficiently as somewhere like Germany or UK or France. Just the facts I'm afraid. But, as I said not likely to happen either way. Frankly, we're simply not important enough on a global stage for such an attack, we have little to no power in Europe and less so globally.

Whats more likely to happen that will directly effect us however, is a slow return to a hard border or at least restriction on the freedom of movement between ROI and the UK regardless of what both parties want post Brexit, myself and my friend who lives in England were only talking about this the morning after the London attack, that it would be easy for some of these people to access Britain through our generally lax travel and security system, lo and behold one these latest eejits turns out to have lived in Rathmines for a period before entering Britain. If that happens again even one more time, you'll quickly see the talks of no hard border post Brexit disappearing in a flash.

Would you like to bet your life or your families lives on it ?

I'd sooner not be involved in a terrorist incident ............. what sort of juvenile numpty are you. Would you rather ride your mum or your dad btw?

Do you reckon that the attackers would be shot in 8 minutes ?

In an Irish City, Cork, Dublin, Limerick or Galway I reckon they'd be battered by AGS or shot within 8 mins, yes.

And where exactly would the 48 injured be transported to ?

Oh yeah the nearest A&E department where they could join the queue or be left on a trolley at the door.

The seriously injured would of course be seen on arrival, as you well know.

Faster than it would take an ambulance to arrive!

The very quickest reaction would be using a couple of CT lads on the BMWF800GS type motorbikes (in an urban environment). It's probably twice as quick, and more than four times as cheap, opposed to larger vehicles weaving through traffic.

America has several bases in dozens of countries all over the planet, the shannon airport thing does not necessarily show a very strong support for americans from us and is definitely not something that would make terrorists want to target ireland specifically

Considering all someone has to do is publish a cartoon to anger terrorists I don't see how allowing the American military to refuel here isn't enough to anger them. And like I said terrorist attacks are becoming different. Some muslim lad living here that thinks the Irish government are in league with the Americans or the UK could easily decide to grab a knife, hop in his car, mow down a few dozen people and stab a few others.

Created by people who think importing poor and uneducated Muslim immigrants is acceptable. America doesn't allow it and they've gotten off lightly since 9/11. If America shared a land-border or land-route with the Islamic world, Donald Trump's wall would have probably been called George Bush's wall and it would have cleanly won him the 2000 election over Gore if he proposed it during his campaign. America's Muslim immigrants are of a much better class than what we allowed into Europe and we continue to do it.

Do you have education stats to support that?

Been to US last November and two out of three Uber cab driver were Muslim, one from Algeria the other from Libya. This is the class you are talking about?
