Tim Farron, leader of the UK liberal party is calling it a terrorist attack. Wonder why he would call it an attack when it's not been officially confirmed.

I think he might be from Manchester (or relatively nearby) himself so he might have a bit of knowledge.

Looking through all of the news agencies nobody has a clue what caused it.

Id have assumed if it were terror we'd know after 2 hours.

To me it doesnt have the hallmark of islamic terror. Nowhere near it.

Yeah because Islamist terrorists have no history of letting off bombs in crowded places. Good man.

We do know andit is after 2 hours.

Is it that your theory of the Manchester Police and British Govt. are letting this story grow legs for the crack of it.

If there was even a semi credible chance that this was anything but a bomb they would have let that be known, the Media already know as much as the police do.

Quite scary that People can't even enjoy a concern now days. The world is becoming a scary, segregated place and I see more isolation occuring due to incidents like this.

Several people taken to hospital, many being treated for more minor injuries but sadly some serious and life threating injuries.

If they were thinking it was terrorism they would be warning people to stay indoors etc? No?

There's absolutely no sign of a point of detonation.

It doesn't look like any typical scene of a bombing.

Won't jump to conclusions but if it was a bomb it was a very unusual one from all available footage.

If this does turn out to be a terror attack it's a new low in Europe. A concert like this is going to be majority children. I'd like to think nobody could see this as a target, whatever about train stations or airports.

The 20-30 fatalities that the BBC reported earlier seems to be based on an eye witness account rather than official police figures so hopefully completely off the mark.

People say that fatalities could be caused by a crush.

I really doubt that that can happen in modern day arenas with wide exits.

Young kids though just takes a few to slip. This does seem odd though.

because he and anyone even remotely in the loop have already heard the police describe it as so, their statements to date, the media statements to date all indicate that, there would be much greater clarity in private.

Was in that arena last bonfire night, explosions going off all night and I had no idea it was bonfire night. Genuinely thought it was bombs going off in Manchester. So surreal to see this on the news now.

Yeah, I'm not going to even click on that, can't imagine they're very analytical based on their name and appeal for followers.

Wyhtenshawe hospital (I assume it's a local Manchester hospital) is reportedly asking those not seriously injured to leave the hospital as they can't be treated.

Yeah you're right, makes sense. Seeming more likely this is not an accident.
