It's posting someone's personal info publicly, can lead to death threats etc to someone's home address and seems to be beginning to be taken quite seriously as a criminal act. Reddit just straight up closed some quite entire busy subreddits for users in them doing it to avoid legal issues for example (kind of like if boards were just to completely delete AH).

BTW Pilly, Doxxing is putting up peoples information online. So if I were to post your facebook, twitter and phone number online that would be doxxing. It normally includes a malicious overtone. Generally it's accompanied by loads of people sending you abusive messages etc...

His twitter is linked to in the article, and is a public profile that he chose to accuse a bereaved wife of faking her injuries in a terrorist attack, the guy can go f*** himself.

Not that it matters because when you get down to it, people are what they are, and pathologising everyone's behaviour/likes/dislikes is ridiculous, but THIS woman was a bit more than displaying a personality trait, to my mind.

It's not fair to expect the couple being harassed in the restaurant to diagnose this woman and stop filming accordingly.
The man posted the video soon after the incident afaik, so he wouldn't have had the hindsight of seeing her twitter account or any other trace of her online.

That he should probably remove it now is more relevant, but at this stage I suppose the damage is done.
She brought it onto herself, it's unfortunate but there you go, that's life in the 21st century.

About the mermaids vid, I also think she's talking on the phone.

I'm a sane person, but if you overheard me talking about this to my husband at the other end of a phone, you'd probably think I was crazy too.

I think the young breast showing one couldn't give a toss whether she's being bitchy filming Santa Monica woman and showing her in an unfair light. She (breast woman) might very well be aware Santa Monica is talking on the phone, but it makes good vine/instagram/snapchat material along with said breasts, so who cares...

That's the kind of video I would think is unacceptable, rather than the previous restaurant one.

Restaurant one is justified because there is random aggression.
