Did anybody get a payment this week for anything. We got one for something but can't log into agfood to check what it's for🙈🙈

Just checked there and low and behold something came in alright. Got no txt like I normally do but I'd say it's money for the BDGP to be honest. So probably nothing to do with glas I'd say.

If you check Financial Self Services on agfood it will show payments paid and due, with details.
Just checked mine - it's not accessible!!! Might be updating???

Don't use agfood that often and got locked out of my acc last week when I made an arse of the login. I'd be fairly sure this the genomics money.
Tis amazing how much of a say that scheme is having with lad's for small money.

I don't have the financial self service on my agfood?
I'm also not in the BDGP 😅

Spoke to them, that's all I could get out of them.
Bought bird and bat boxes March 16, so 16 months later still no return on my investment.
Can't see any point in ringing again.
An explanation of how my personal case stands would be a start

It might be time to contact your local td.
The story I heard is that some ppl were unable to submit their sfp applications as a complication of glas so they had to withdraw from glas. Feckin blackmail for the sake of statics

If I were you, I'd get in contact with a local TD or Senator that might have some clue what Glas is and get him/her to send a parliamentary question to the ministers office. Has been known to put 'the skids' under useless civil servants

My SFP application went through without a hitch as far as I'm aware. Was considering a complaint to the Ombudsman but thought it would come before It got that far.

    Any update on the 15%.

Beginning to think we can write this off at this stage.

I rang dept of ag on Fri and ended up being put through to minister's office, and was told end of June for 15%.

Here we go again - http://www.independent.ie/business/farming/schemes/planners-urged-to-speed-up-glas-nutrient-documents-35817763.html - more excuses from the Department to withhold GLAS money for all particpants.

Right now it looks like nobody in GLAS will get a penny again be that 85% or 15% or whether they be in GLAS 1, 2 or 3.

The Department are laughing at us.

You will go through the prepayment checks and if that is in order you will be picked up on the next payment run.

Got this by email, should I start getting excited?

This is the 15 % that was due to be paid last January, and the nutrient plan that planners were unable to submit for the last 6 months as the dept website only became live in the last few weeks.

    And their warning us ?

Some cheek out of them alright.
I can't for the life of me understand why Creed hasn't been severely called out over this. He seems to be getting a easy ride from the farming body's for some reason.

Shure who is calling to call him? Leo or the IFA - take your pick. Both of these have their own agendas and that agenda certainly doesn't cater for any small farmer in Eire.

My advice is that Minister Creed does an ECDL FAS Course (European Computer Driving Licence). Maybe then he can start to unravel the so-called 'IT' issues inflicting the Department of Ag.
The next election isn't a million miles away - cast your judgement then and bring on the day when Ireland becomes a Meritocracy.

I think a few Mayo boys need to visit their new Minister ring.

It could only happen in Ireland. One would think it's an April fools joke only for the fact that we're heading for mid Summers day next week.

Got a phone call from my planner the other day looking for 465 to complete my Nutrient Management Plan.

I know we knew about this price before we signed up but it seems like a lot of money for a few hours work

Does it only take a few hours to complete. Did he tell you it only took a few hours to do or did you have to go to his office and complete it while you are there.

I am not in glas, but it must be very disheartening to be carrying out work for this years scheme when you havent been paid for previous years

Is that a teagasc price ? Or independent planner price ? Don't know how much I'm going to be charged , but it sounds saucy

It's teagasc linked to farm relief

My advisor, a private person charged me €520 for doing my NMP, so you got off slightly better.

Furthermore, when this person does anything for me it's correct unlike some planners that I've heard about

I think my planner said when I was putting in my GLAS plan, 10% (of the annual GLAS payment) for initial plan and another 10% for the nutrient management plan... subject to a minimum of about 250 euro...
    I think anyways...
