Lads, are we obliged by the Department of Agriculture to retain our GLAS planner on an annual basis to sign off the GLAS records?
If I recall we did not need to do so for REPS - once you knew how to complete the records you could do so yourself. Thanks

I called glas section today to ask when payment will be (85% i'm presuming) and she told me their working on it now but I might not get payment until the new year. Why all the delays? I don't ever remember any big delays with single farm payment or the forestry premium.

So I received 85% of last years payment. Time to sow catch crops has arrived. When will I see the balance or this years payment? More money now to spend but no guarantee when I'll see a return. Why do we have to put up with this nonsense?

I think my planner said when I was putting in my GLAS plan, 10% (of the annual GLAS payment) for initial plan and another 10% for the nutrient management plan... subject to a minimum of about 250 euro...
I think anyways...

My advisor, a private person charged me €520 for doing my NMP, so you got off slightly better.

Furthermore, when this person does anything for me it's correct unlike some planners that I've heard about

Is that a teagasc price ? Or independent planner price ? Don't know how much I'm going to be charged , but it sounds saucy

I am not in glas, but it must be very disheartening to be carrying out work for this years scheme when you havent been paid for previous years

Does it only take a few hours to complete. Did he tell you it only took a few hours to do or did you have to go to his office and complete it while you are there.
