No still waiting on payment for the last 3 months of 2015 never mind the 85% of 2016. And my planned cannot proceed with bps application until Glas issues are sorted.😀

Just got balancing payment for 2015. Waiting on 2016 now.

Got a balancing payment for 2015 to bring my total received for 2015 to €330.

I was down for the max of €5,000. Should I have received 1/4 of €5000 for 2015?

It's all gone quiet? No recent updates on numbers left to be payed? Seems to be a bigger shambles than at first thought?

You should only be getting 1/4 of your LPP money for 2015

Three of were talking about GLAS and planners. We have three different planners, one of us was charged a once of payment plus payment for a nutrient management plan later. The other two have a yearly charge from their planners. Which is the most common ?

The first option one for me.

AFAIK mine is first option, am with Teagasc. Looks bad for 18,000 new entrants being paid before christmas 2017.

Ya I heard early December too. Didn't hear any percentages. 85 % sounds good to me.

Nope and don't expect to see it anytime soon either. This has gone to the stage beyond a fiasco. The Department have proven that they don't care and it sets up a poor precedent for the (un)timely payment of future schemes.

Now that the figures outstanding have gone below 5,000 little noise is been made by the farm unions - not much consolation if you are one of those 5,000.
The balancing payment was due before before the end of 2016 and it is now April 2017. Pathetic is the only word that springs to mind.

Only 5 months to go and next year's payment is due according to the farmers charter anyway.
Is there any deadline by Europe when glas money has to be paid.

Few Got text yesterday from the Dept's 50777 number. Having been on to them, the IFA and my planner, I thought fcuking brilliant, my GLAS payment has been issued. Now I can afford to pay off a few bills and buy chocolate mikado biscuits. More than a bit disappointed when I opened it to read that it only about contacting my Ag advisor about pig slurry.
While the reminder about single farm application etc are great, have they nothing better to do? Is there anyone out there that wouldn't of thought of getting pig slurry where available to reduce fertiliser costs?
    Load of sh1t, I thought.

Neighbour telling me he got phone call from the Dept. about his GLAS payment. There was an issue with his maps and he passed on this to his planner to sort out. He was telling me today that his planner told him that the issue was now sorted.
We were wondering when should he expect payment or has anyone had a similar experience.

No money received, heard nothing at all. Rang Johnstown about it, spoke to a fella who had only just started who knew absolutely nothing. Cant see me getting any money anytime soon, we really are being treated like dirt. Spent first money on my measures close to a year and a half ago.

Yeah, the hind tit for some.
No problem using another payment last year to give low interest to our larger brethren.
Money that should be for 90,000 used to prop up 4,500 farmers with big merchant credit bills.

Just listening to the radio and it begs the question.....is there any accountability in any of the public service.......we're really getting the mushroom treatment when we go looking for accountability in the guards especially.
Then they have the cheek to look for more money ffs

Well, if it isn't a priority with the Minister, it's not allocated the resources required. Seems to be the case, in this instance.

Apparently the new Knowledge Transfer Scheme is being plagued by 'IT' problems as well. These issues will be Minister Creeds legacy to Irish farming. He may yet regret the 'light touch' oversight of his Department. A tipping point will come.

How quickly do we forget that these schemes were pushed by covney.

Applied for GLAS almost two years ago and still no payment at all here. The 85% payment is now 7 months late.

Whats worse is the complete lack of communication about what is causing the payment hold-ups.
The first bit in writing from them was a one-page letter that arrived today full of blather about needing to meet EU regulatory requirements and no explanation or apology for the payment delay!

Starting to get a bit worried by the recent statements coming out of Creed and the Department. It looks like that they might be planning to retrospectively amend the Terms & Conditions to throw the 3,500 GLAS 1 and 2 farmers who have gotten no payments yet out of GLAS entirely.

That might sound daft, but reading between the lines they may have calculated that the manhours required to manually over-ride the errors caused by their clusterf**k of a mapping system is now too much for them to stomach....

It looks a lot easier and more attractive for Creed and the top civil servants to say "oh your GLAS maps had errors so you were not eligible to join the scheme" rather than admit that this was no fault of the farmers and fix the mess the archaic mapping system created in the first place.

The department seem to be suggesting the majority have received some payment at this stage. Is this the case? Mine due last December. Havent heard ir received anything?
Can they really scrap it as this point? Anyone know what the contract says?

Surely you have contacted them yourself at this stage?

    IT issue.............,,
Spoke to them, that's all I could get out of them.
Bought bird and bat boxes March 16, so 16 months later still no return on my investment.
Can't see any point in ringing again.
An explanation of how my personal case stands would be a start
