There is a drizzle of rain in North Kerry as I write. Not much but I'll take it for the garden. :)

Draw a line from Dublin to north of Galway and the weather warning is effective in counties south of it.

Thanks. 2 of mine are out toasting marshmallows in the garden beside the tent . I think they'd be devastated if it rained

There are a few thunder showers North of that line too according to meet radar map. Go out and look North west. Forecast is for some rain moving down from NW as well. Lightning in a tent is great. On such things memories are made.

We had great fun as children sleeping in a tent in the garden. My lads used to love it as well although they mostly arrived back into the house in the early hours.

It didn't rain here, if there is a term for a small lake falling out of the sky that would do.

I was close to repenting my sins.

    North Cork.

I am wondering how long will they last. Young lad is wrecked and the tent is right beside the milking parlour. We used to camp out too and never lasted too long

Driving home earlier on the N2 and saw a guy irrigating Spring wheat/barley? with a splash plate and umbilical just North of Ashbourne.

We've had very little rain in the last 6 weeks in our place in North Longford yet I see some posters across the border in Cavan saying that they had a good sup in the last few days :(

Latest ECMWF has about 10mm in next 24hrs in SE Wicklow
    I'd take that!

    North and west much more
Then pretty dry for a week or more
    Windy tomorrow

    Trivia.

20mm of rainfall is 80,937 litres of pH 5.6 water on an acre.
