Well he knew something was up a year in advance. He has more inside information than any of us.

Literally everyone figured it out, he was never not gonna play here when he announced a world tour.

This is from Brooks Yankee Stadium show during the summer. I imagine this was what the Croke Park layout would of been

No way this is happening, if it is fair play. Buble it will be in the Aviva (3 nights June or July 2017)

Rumours would indicate Buble is doing an indoor/arena tour this time

I'd bet the house on buble.

I think Buble may do 5 nights at 3Arena Dublin

I heard Nathan Carter now is doing a show in 3Arena Dublin, would he really sell out there

And SSE in Belfast, with Sharon Shannon and band on both nights.

I'm delighted with that announcement, all for country music.

More in hoping here, but Deftones German dates got linked for next April/May, would be great to see them come back at last.

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds of Dave Matthews Band are performing an acoustic run which includes an Olympia Theatre show on 23rd March 2016.

Wouldn't mind if Aphex Twin was to announce a standalone gig for a change, seems to have been playing festivals for the last twenty years. Where would a musician like him play now in Dublin, I reckon Vicar St and Olympia would be too small for venues of someone of his stature to play, what would be the next biggest venue after that lot.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

You cannot underestimate how popular country music is. I'd be fairly confident he could sell out a few shows in the point.

I won't lie, I'd be keen to see Blink live now, like the new album, and like Matt Skiba in the band.

would be some laugh if it was Bon Jovi (played Croke Park in 2006) or someone like that who were announced for Croke Park next year and not Guns N Roses

MCD Conference rumour from a GNR fansite

So If Coldplay and GNR are playing Croke Park than that means no Garth Brooks

Aviva will host someone like Michael Buble, Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Bon Jovi or Green Day

Marlay Park, RHK and other venues like Nowlan Park Kilkenny, PUC in Cork, Thomond Park Limerick may or may not host concerts next year

Edit Robbie William's is in Dublin for a late late show apperence so it could him MCD are having the press event for !!!!

This is what I don't understand.

Garth Brooks has said that he is in the last 20 cities of the American leg of the tour. Should be finishing up sometime next summer.

Then there was a rumour already mentioned in this post that he is to play Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny and Belfast. The same user seemed to have inside information the last time and knew something a year in advance.

Is one night in Croke Park enough for Garth Brooks. Somehow I doubt it.

RDS is under construction, so that's out as well.

@RalphMcLeanShow has just tweeted that he is on route to an MCD press conference for a big announcement.

    He works for BBC Ulster.

    MCD liked the tweet.

Plus a meet and greet, Robbie Williams is in town, doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

Robbie couldn't possibly sell out croker at this point could he? Has to be the aviva.
