Who in the hell would want to buy a best of Miz DVD?

A 3 hour tribute show to Bobby would be nice.

A fitting tribute would be to mute Michael Cole for three hours.

Expect a min silence for Bobby The Brain Heenan and hopefully he gets a few mentions tonight

Sir Robert of heenan(as nick bockwinkel) should get a nice hand tonight as he rightly should. A pro wrestling genius with some of the most quotable lines in pro wrestling history.

Wow no discussion about Raw last night?

I didn't watch it myself as I had a feeling it would be much of the same before, although from reading the spoilers I was loving the Alex Riley dig by Reigns at Cena.

As poor as Raw has been I'm looking forward to No Mercy, decent enough card on paper.

I watched it, there was just nothing good about it.

I see WWE's Be a STAR campain doesn't include the company being one to Enzo.

I understand the guy is a tool, but they have killed him for long enough surely?

I approved of getting him down to 205 as the show is dying on its arse and having someone who can draw somewhat made sense financially at least.

However why would anyone be bothered to watch 205 a show which needs eyeballs bother when he has been killed so much on the frontline shows?

205 now as a heel english gentleman

its always going to attract crowds as its after the SD live taping and theres always a main roster dark match after it but the crowds for SD have been bad recently

I think the point I was trying to make (badly):P was that viewing numbers on the network were very poor according to Meltzer a few months ago so sending someone like Enzo down is a star somewhat (compared to the no marks on the show) was sensible from a business pov. Not sure killing him hard though for so long will help him though.

I thought the Reigns promo was good. I liked that he ended the promo with the same line Cena did to Rock years ago. It's unusual to get a bit of continuity on WWE television. I didn't think much of the rest of the show.

The return of Bayley was really poorly done imo. It would have been much better to have Nia beat on Sasha and for Bayley to return, run down and make the save. You could have the announcers put over that this is a much more aggressive Bayley due to her wanting to get revenge on Nia for injuring her. Perhaps that would lead to the audience taking her more seriously. Instead she comes down to engage in a 3-on-1 attack on the heel Nia. That just made her and Sasha look bad. Then to make matters worse she and Sasha beat up Alexa in a 2-on-1 attack. Talk about bad booking.

I was mainly interested in the Heenan tribute and I was a bit disappointed. It made him come across like he was a Santino-esque comedy figure. That was a part of his persona but the main focus should be that he was the best manager ever and that he contributed so much to the guys he managed. A few talking heads would have gotten over that fact. Just showing a bunch of clips of him in drag etc. just makes him look like a buffoon rather than one of the best minds in the business. Nothing on his stellar run with Bockwinkel either. I know that was in the AWA but they like to style themselves as owning the history of US wrestling and they have Bockwinkel in their Hall of Fame anyway. To put it in perspective, glossing over his run with Bockwinkel is like doing a tribute for Paul Heyman and glossing over his time with Brock Lesnar. It's well worth looking up some of the Heenan/Bockwinkel promos on Youtube.

I've just finished watching the show and as others have said it wasn't that great of a show.
    - I don't like Enzo so he can stay down in 205.

    - With Goldust wrestling as Dustin Rhodes is that going to be a permanent thing or just a point to prove against Bray.

    - The six pack challenge - I wish I was surprised at the results but I'm not, I wish Jeff Hardy won though and took the title off Miz at No Mercy. Now we are going to have Jason Jordan Vs Miz and Miz will lose but still keep the title because of interference from the Miztourage.

    - Almost forgot about the return of Bayley her return was meh nothing too interesting about it but I found funny how Alexa took their arms to raise hers and the look she got of them. Other than that it was bland.

So a man vs man match? Never saw one of those before. Finn has fought Bray without the paint before, so whta does Bray do? Will it be Finn vs Husky Harris?

Serious Bayley looks like she's about to cry. Why was Emma kept away? How to build a 4-way. Keep one off tv, bring in another to make it a 5 way then just have a tweet from the fifth member. Guessing Emma isn't winning this one.

So if Miz makes it past Sunday, will he be longer than Honky Tonk Man? Will he be longer than Curt's losing streak?
To be honest I, thankfully, keep forgetting about the Kurt/Jordan story. It wasn't until it came up this week taht I realised that's who Miz was referring to when he said Kurt wasn't there for his kid.

Yeah I don't get that match either between Bray & Finn - I'm just hoping this ends the feud

I've calculated all his reigns and have come up with 459 days and Honky Tonks man's reign is 454 days, granted I'm getting my information of Wikipedia but I remember recently enough hearing that in 10 days he would surpass the record and that was more than 10 days ago. I just would have thought he would have made a big deal about it and constantly mentioned it ?

I think the writers use Bray Wyatt too kind of get the good guys over and that's why he loses 80% of his fueds. They see Wyatt as this unstoppable psychopath who is suppose to get into peoples heads who the fans love to see being beaten in his fueds

I do like some of Wyatts stuff esp his entrance, some of his past fueds were good and for a big guy he is decent enough in the ring

The wrestling world wants too see a Bray Wyatt vs Broken Matt fued but if (big if) they do it they should permanently kill off the Bray Wyatt character and give Laurence Rotunda a new gimmick but then again how would we take that character seriously as we all knw who he was in the past ???

Is Bray vs Finn an actual match? I felt it sounded more like some sort of segment, where they'll face off for a fight of some sort, but not necessarily in a sanctioned match.

It's being advertised as a match. I just can't get behind Wyatt's feuds... they're just so random and scream filler match.

Wonder would they poochie Bray Wyatt and send him back to his planet eventually lol

Bray is a talented guy and his ring work is above average. Terrible booking has made him stale.

It would be good if they wrote him off tv for a few months and tried rebuilding the character.

Hes a cult leader type so for his character to work i feel he needs a stable

Too bad Harper and Rowan are otherwise engaged in those other hot storylines.

When Wyatt first came on the scene with the whole Wyatt family, I genuinely thought the concept was going to be him kidnapping and brainwashing people to add to his stable.

Point and Case when they took Kane away that time, only for Kane to come back a few weeks later as a face and clearing house.

Wyatt holding power over his stable and have that stable continuing to grow with his followers willing to take damage in order to protect Bray would have made him seen like such a bigger deal.

They should of brought in a physical sister Abigail. There was plenty of female options to do so

I wonder are they going to make Sanity into a new Wyatt family ???

I like Wyatt's gimmick and matches but between PPVs the biggest threat from him is usually that he's going to speak. At length.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

They had a great chance to do a feud with his brother when he had the Bo-lieve gimmick going two different versions of a cult leader if done right fighting over who had the better ideology.

    Post No Mercy show.

What will happen when Reigns is the guest on a special Miz TV to kick off Raw?
In an iconic showdown that took both Roman Reigns and John Cena to the absolute limit in a barrage of Attitude Adjustments, Spears and Superman Punches, The Big Dog overcame the 16-time World Champion at WWE No Mercy. Cena raised Reigns’ hand, and a mutual respect was evident between the two tremendous competitors. More importantly, The Big Dog showed once and for all that he is indeed ready to stand at the top of WWE.

In the aftermath, though, The Miz proposed a special “Miz TV” to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, an exclusive interview that he would conduct with Reigns to ask hard-hitting questions concerning the black-clad Superstar’s epic match against Cena, recent buzz surrounding Reigns and his “old buddies” and more.
Don’t miss when “Miz TV” kicks off Raw tonight.

With a loss to Brock Lesnar, is Braun Strowman more dangerous than ever?
Just in case the ground was shaking a little too much that the people couldn’t see the match clearly, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar survived the incredible challenge from Braun Strowman at WWE No Mercy.

And as the dust cleared, two things were certain. First, the next time the WWE Universe sees Paul Heyman and his conquering client, The Advocate will not be at a loss for words. And second, Monday Night Raw had better get ready for the fallout from The Monster Among Men. If there is one thing more dangerous than a victorious Strowman, it’s one who has been bested.

What will be the fallout from chaotic Raw Woman’s Champion Fatal 5-Way Match?
Yes, Alexa Bliss emerged victorious against the odds in an extremely turbulent Fatal 5-Way Raw Women’s Championship Match at WWE No Mercy, but how will the chaotic free-for-all transform the Women’s division moving forward? Can Alexa and Nia Jax just go back to being best friends? What about Bayley and Sasha Banks? Who came out of the fray in the best position to challenge the “Goddess of WWE” next?
Moreover, the announcement that dominant former NXT Champion Asuka will make her main roster debut at WWE TLC
will surely make for an even more unstable Women’s division.

How long is the Enzo Amore Era destined to last?
At WWE No Mercy, Enzo Amore hit an illegal low blow to overcome Neville and capture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Both Monday Night Raw and WWE 205 Live have been left no choice but to prepare themselves for the new era of The Realest Guy in the Room.

But how long will that era last? Fueled by a thirst for retribution, The King of the Cruiserweights will certainly be targeting the new titleholder.

Will Jason Jordan get another opportunity at the Intercontinental Champion?
Surprise, surprise, The Miztourage helped The A-Lister retain his coveted Intercontinental Championship against up-and-comer Jason Jordan at WWE No Mercy.

As the smoke cleared on the controversial matchup, a disappointed Jordan made no bones about the fact that he still doesn’t respect the crafty titleholder for his tactics and would indeed like another bout for the gold. But will he get it in the weeks to come? And if he does, will such a rematch cause friction with the locker room, especially with Jordan’s "father" being Raw General Manager Kurt Angle?

    Seeds of
    The Shield
reunion being set up tonight to face The Miztourage at TLC next month..
