Why can't they tape the Christmas Day raw. They've taped other shows not on Christmas Day before over the years. Stupid idea.

Were going to get those terrible comedy matches/skits on these raws

Xmas day we will get a comedy match with someone dressed as santa

News years day we will get a backstage party skit

    Business is down big time.

And this will be a big ticket seller as Christmas presents for whichever City is hosting RAW.

Not even one post during the live RAW (Is that a first?)

That kind of say everything you need to know about the WWE at the moment.

Thought it was a good enough Raw myself.

So ****ed after the weekend I could not of been bothered staying up for it. Watching it now enjoyed the Jeff Hardy vs Miz match

I watched the first 20 minutes earlier. Cena's developing a nice bald spot which isn't as noticeable when he has got it shaven.
I fast forward through the rest & barely stopped as I find the storylines boring. Bray Wyatt & Finn Balor are 2 of the most boring, bland talents outside of the cruiserweight division so why they prolong their storyline is beyond me.

When I see big show clean shaven all I see is King Kong Bundy haha

I watched it live but didn't bother posting it wasn't a bad show. I knew that the intercontinental title match would go down exactly that easy leading to a rematch at No Mercy which Jeff will win. Leaving Miz as champion means in 9 days he will be the longest reigning champion in terms of overall time spent as a champion. The match at no mercy will probably have Matt, Miztourage and Maryse all banned from ringside.

In terms of the steel cage match I was really expecting them to go through the side of the steel cage so the fact that they didn't and the ring didn't collapse again was a suprise

Not too long ago there used to be a separate thread for each Raw

Is it any wonder they're cutting costs across the board and doing a show christmas day

Because we don't post as much? :)

Once again i have to wonder why try to climb the cage instead of walking out the door?

And didn't Angle say last week that he had someone for Miz to face at No Mercy, or whoever the champ was?

Cena saying he respected the Miz was decent.

I mean yeah its crap working for Christmas day, but it happens quite a bit for many people, load of American sports Christmas day. I wouldn't be impressed if I were management about this whatsoever, not professional this ranting whatsoever.

Yeah but other American sports stars get to enjoy an off-season. It's completely needless to have the talent work Christmas. They should just give them poxy holidays, no need to make storyline excuses.

Could even spin it into a positive. Oh Jason Jordan is on holidays, too bad Dallas and Axel wrecked his stuff in Angle's office... he'll be mad to get them when he returns in a couple of weeks.

I work Christmas day and have for years I don't have any sympathy for them to be honest.

This is why they spent several years in TNA because of lighter schedule especially since they have kids now.

I'm sure you get paid for it? I've done 5 of the last 7 Christmases myself but then again we get holidays, I'm sure you do too? They don't even get leave I don't think.

So they are indentured slaves then? well I take it all back so.

Didn't say that, no need to be so sarcastic. I'm saying they don't get any holidays that I know of. None.

They're "independent contractors" who have absolutely no option as to what days they work. I think they work about 300 days a year or something mad.

Working Christmas day for many of them will mean that Xmas eve will be a travel day. WWE used always run a show on Dec 26th meaning the 25th would be their travel day. This kinda prevents those with family from even having a Xmas day morning. (Bret Hart wrote about this arrangement in his biog). It'd be one thing running a show say in Florida using talent based there but I guess this won't be that.

I probably pity the Hardy's kids more, especially when than their wives come across as snobs tbh.
I'm 90% sure WWE ran a Raw show on Christmas eve a few years ago, the one where Del Rio ran over Santa that people defended at the time saying it was non canon & not to take it seriously :pac:

Christmas used to be a big night when the territories were still a going concern.

The WWE must have ran Christmas day in the past also. During the 80s they had an A, B and C tour on the road 365 days a year.

Half expecting them to have Jinder show up just so he can speak that evil foreign tongue and get the USA chants going.

    Mother of God no.

    There's heat.

    There's cheap heat.

    There's Aldi cheap heat.

There's Aldi after 8pm discount on half-stale bread cheap heat.

And THEN there'd be that, imo!
