Looking forward to Rollins vs Strowman on Raw tonight. I am hoping they get at least 10-15 minutes. Rollins matches have been really short lately. All three of his matches against Sheamus on Raw recently have only been around 5 minutes.

It's disappointing that Rollins has stopped using The Falcon Arrow since he started teaming up with Ambrose. Would look great if he was able to somehow lift Strowman up for it during their match.

Since when Raw women have private locker rooms?

Could they go down the route of the Miz getting to pick 2 partners to face the shield and it's doesn't pick his lackees and goes for someone like Sheamus/Cesaro or even call upon an NXT team like AOP???

Well I was right about the Sheamus/Cesaro thing anyway

Shield vs Miz/Bar is an infinity more exciting match than the other one, so I'm ok with that.

Enzo is brilliant as a heel. Shame he is so utterly hatted backstage cause he is killing it as a baddy.

More cheers than jeers for Roman last night seems to be turning a corner.

Ugh, quoting yourself and saying I was right is the worst... and you were wrong about AOP. When you predict something every single week, you're gonna get something right (or half right) eventually.

Enzo as a heel mouthpiece is actually fascinating to watch. He hardly missed a beat out there. Kalisto coming in was alright but maybe a little flat. Hopefully they have good chemistry.

Seeing people lose their sh*t over the possibility of the Miztourage main eventing TLC was gas. We all know better right?! Read elsewhere that the building TLC is scheduled for is where the Shield debuted back in 2012 and broke up when Rollins pulled the trigger on Plan B. Nice bookend.

Don't care about Bray, don't care about Finn.

    Nobody is ready for Asuka.

They actually booked him how one logically would do if trying to get him over for once.

Pit him vs a heel with backup who is good at getting heat. Be a badass and even use weapons while taking out The Miztourage resulting in a 1on1 match. Book the match to include spots on the outside. Don't just have him go over in the Superman wins lol way and instead have him the victim of a beatdown so as to get him some support and sympathy. Link him up with the very popular Seth and Dean, use nostalgia and the super over Shield to get him even more cheers.

It's actually really simple stuff but why they haven't been doing this kind of thing the whole time I've no idea.

Actually don't mind Enzo as a heel but it's all mouth and his in ring ability is average

Finally have something for Kalisto to do

That's what the CW needs, someone with charisma.

They have all the technical guys who can put on amazing matches but not half a personality between the lot of them.

I'm enjoying the build to the Shield return and Sheamus and Cesaro are far better options than Dallas and Axel.

Reigns was handled much better last night. A straightforward promo that was simple and effective, and then let him whoop ass. I agree with BH that this is how he should be used normally.

Enzo was good in his role. I've hated him since day one so I'm glad to see him as a heel as it feels more natural to me.

The booking of Jordan really disappoints me because I really like him and see a lot of potential in him. This guy ticks a lot of boxes: he's a very good wrestler, he's only 29, he has a legit amateur wrestling background, he has a good look, he seems to be a guy you could trust with the media stuff outside of the ring. The only thing he's missing is that connection with the audience and it's baffling that they think this phony association with Angle was ever going to work. If they just let the guy wrestle, suplex guys all over the place, work his way up the card, I think he'd slowly but surely win people over.

Someone will flip soon and side with Enzo - I'm thinking TJP, Dar or possibly someone completely out of left-field like Swann.

Who would've thought that either a Cruiserweight or Enzo would close Raw 2 weeks in a row?

Saw a comment saying imagine if they had a storyline where Samoa Joe was too old, since he's the same age as Mickie. Or even AJ Styles who's older.

Who should be Abigail? Or rather, who do you think they'll have as Abigail? Assuming it's not Bray in a dress

Paige is another name I'm seeing mentioned.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Would they trust Paige with such a prominent role after her last two years of melting down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,393 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Think it would be a good way of bringing her back. They could blur the lines a bit by having Bray talk about how she was a lost soul, she's returned to the flock, he'll be her guiding light etc.

You know, the usual Bray shíte.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I think they should just have some woman appear in a mask like they did with other debuting/returning Wyatt members. Try to keep the actual identity secret. Give her a creepy robe and maybe have it be a lamb's mask instead of the usual sheep masks. Don't let her talk either, like with early Kane.

Part of me likes the idea of going Norman Bates with it and just have Bray in a dress thinking he was Abigail. That would flop with most guys but he's someone I think could make it come across genuinely creepy.

I actually think what may happen is they will bring back the goofy hologram that they did with I think Ambrose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,288 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

    It could be

Could be. Mainly because it would need to be someone new to the roster who hasn't been too prominent on NXT. Think she went out in the first or second round of the women's tournament.
Unless they go the possession/brain washing route and have someone like Paige.

Or to really get everyone mad. Sister Abigail =
    Sister Asuka
    :pac:

Just realised, did something change behind the scenes? They're giving the fans 2 things they were looking for: Shield reunion and Sister Abigail.

I've read it's set to be
Bray himself just in different attire and with either facepaint or a mask.

I think, its was implied that Abigail was a part of Bray, ala his demon.

Like hes gonna do something similar to Finns Demon and call himself Abigail. Thats what I took away from that promo

God this Bray Wyatt stuff is embarrassing as a wrestling fan it's the type of stuff that people who never seen wrestling will stumble across & rightfully criticise.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,960 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Very Meh on Raw. Some interesting enough things, but I'm disappointed Enzo lost the title cause he's been entertaining the last few weeks, and there's a lot of stuff that looks ok on paper that isn't appealing to me at all.

The title change felt very abrupt, kinda felt like the only reason it happened was because of it being Eddie's birthday.

Nah it's just WWE 50/50 booking. Enzo will likely win it back at TLC making last night pointless.

theres so much promise with bray at the start but hes honestly impeding people at this stage. hes feud with orton, roman and finn have been terrible in ring theyve been solid enough but story wise just the worst of the worst.

the way enzo lost the title its like there is a wellness violation on the way which i dont think weve had for a while for one of the guys probaley roman

Wyatt is going to start crossdressing, isn't he?
