Hands up, who actually watches 205 Live? Not just the odd clip or Youtube video, the actual show? And we're the hardcore fans too. WWE has worked hard over the last few months to train the audience into the mentality that it's a pointless division and not to be all that interested in it. Dreadful stories, pointless matches, some talented guys.

People going to shows aren't paid actors, they don't need to do what WWE expects them to do. Its a relationship where one side wants to be entertained and the other should be entertaining. If WWE don't bother holding up their end of the deal, don't be shocked when people opt to make their own fun.

I watch 205 Live regularly. It generally has one or two really good matches on it every week. I think a lot of the storylines are really good and have really good matches to finish them off (Mustafa Ali vs Drew Gulak 2/3 falls; Tozawa/Kendrick street fight, Alexander/Dar I Quit match were all really good). Neville's reign as champion this year has been brilliant. And, up to now there hasn't been an authority figure on the show.

What I find interesting is that these shows are bloody expensive to go to, why do people pay to go to these shows when they're not interested in them? The crowds at WWE shows these days seem to be dead almost all the time, except for fans who need to make everyone aware that they know what the Bullet Club is and do the Too Sweet gimmick. This one annoys me so much because the drama of near falls is so important to wrestling and these just ruin it.

While the crowd trying to get themselves over is a big issue.

But, if WWE gave them a reason to care about someone or a match, they wouldn't act like that. See how they treated the Brock/Strowman segment for instance.

WWE have to take their share of the blame for creating a product that 95% of the time is impossible to invest yourself emotionally in.

I don't get why 205 Live is even a thing, never mind that it's sharing talent with Raw instead of SDL. You have enough time in a 3 hour show for two matches and a couple of segments as it is. If they just let them work as they worked on the CWC it would be savage. Yes the styles and unorthodox and different but that's the point. It's a botched opportunity I think.

I think Hardy Boyz should stop being half-broken or "awoken" as they like to claim. It just comes across as watered down compared to what they were doing in TNA.

Yeah they've been skidding around it and honeydickin for 4 months now, if they can't do the proper broken thing then just let them be the hardy boyz, team extreme for a few months

I wonder if they were meant to do a story with the revival that would turn them broken

I think they're kinda stuck. They're not allowed to do the gimmick but they know it's what people want to see now. So they half do it just to keep people happyish

Haven't watched this week's episode of 205 but supposedly Enzo has moved there

May he never darken Raw's door again.

He can stay gone as far as I'm concerned just wondering if he would be back

I think he was on a pre-show recently so he hasn't been released anyway.

Big Cass tore his ACL last week requiring surgery so he will be out for months
That's his big push over ?

Could they make it anymore obvious that they're building this "Emma started the women's revolution" thing to Paige returning to correct her?

Cena and Reigns doing the Cena&Rock promo battle. I'm all in :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,548 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

That was actually a deadly promo by Reigns. Shame he stole it nearly word-from-word from the Miz. Felt like that segment was engineered to make Roman look like crap in the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

That was a great promo and Cena just completely destroyed Roman

I think at this stage they want to make Sasha the Ric Flair champion of the Women's Division. Which is strange as they have Charlotte.

That and the CW title made that week redundant....

Overall, there was some good moments. Jeff Hardy going after the IC title is interesting. The Cena/Reigns promo was fascinating to watch.

Not thrilled that Finn/Bray is continuing.

Reigns and Cena are so hated that the only way they can get people interested is pull back the entire curtain on wrestling.

I'm half expecting them to start saying each others moves look fake next week.

Yeah, I was sure Jordan would win that match for the IC title shot, so it was nice to be surprised.

Looks like nothing major happened on Raw bar the title switch and Cena/Reigns Promo
