I see Finn has been calling Matt and Jeff, Broken and Neo on Twitter this week.

Does this mean they have won the case to use the Broken gimmick?

The more I hear that new bit in Seth Rollins' theme, the more I absolutely despise it, and by extension, him.

Ask poor young Marcus Rashford! The Man United mascot left him hanging on Sunday. :D

It'd be bad enough if that was the other way around, but a professional footballer would take such an ego hit from that. :pac:

Glad the drama between Rollins and Ambrose has been resolved now anyway, already looking forward to the Ambrose heel turn.

Cutbacks must be bad judging by Alexa's "throne".

Just thinking about this whole SHIELD thing. Imagine if they help Reigns on Sunday to win the title. Turn them all heel again, give them all the titles too. Would be amazing. Doubt it's going to happen, but a guy can dream!

    That would actually be awesome

I'd say its way more likely Dean turns on Rollins, like Rollins turned on him.

I'm enjoying that story. For the first time in forever, they've not just dismissed that these two hated each other, they've not just ran the "I'm face now so we're besties". They've justified most of why they are teaming again. There's genuine character development, which is so rare in WWE.

    Enjoyed the CW title match.

And I can't wait till Sunday for the four way. Should be a battle. I really hope they put the title on Brawn now. WWE has a habit of waiting till the iron has cooled down, and missing their chances. This is their chance to create an absolute monster star.

I'm pretty sure Cass was getting the fabled X-Pac heat last night.

Or at least I hope he was. I can't stand him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

in nxt i thought there was some hope for cass but ever since he was brought up hes been terrible i think hes regressed in ring wise and the mic he was basically a catchphrase and hes shown nothing in his heel run yet.

i think the whole 7 feet thing is just a joke when you see him beside a guy like show whos a legit giant.

Enzo must be hated big time backstage.

Hope he makes a mint from merchandise sales before he is eventually run out of the WWE.

Very Good Raw. Did the job a go home should, make you watch on Sunday.

Tozawa and Neville was a good watch, they are restricted by WWE style and cant bust out their A-game, but they had a great match considering that.

Surprised they gave Finn and Wyatt a match last night, Finn dragged Wyatt to a decent TV match. I liked the blood bath angle and it adds a bit of fire into this feud which it badly needed. Pity Finn cant deliver his backstage promo better though afterwards.

Big Show angle with Cass was fine for what it was, Big Cass didnt handle the boo boys well and looks lost without Enzo.

Sasha and Nia was a good tv match too, but her vs Alexa needs some heat.

Ambrose and Rollins angle was great too, delighted WWe didnt shoe horn this angle too fast. The slwo build was perfect and I look forward to Rollins and Ambrose for the first tiem in ages. They work so well as a team and against Cesaro and Sheamo they can steal the show.

The main event is great , no one looks like a favourite, and its gonna be a big fcuk off big man match. I cant wait.

Couldnt care less about Jason Jordan, reminds me of the blue Chipper Rocky Maivia.

Raw really did a great job in many ways in the last few months and it culminates this sunday..... woo hoo.

Very much disagree with that. Whether it was on purpose or not, the stalling got him ten times as much heat as he got when he first came out, so he did his job nicely whether he meant it or not. I'm also not a believer in "go away" or "X Pac" heat though so that sort of thing would always be well received by me anyway. I'm not knocking anyone who does buy into those terms btw, I just don't.

I dont think it was go away heat but I meant he looked so nervous when the boos began raining down. He looked like a deer in the headlights, very paniced and seemed very unsure as what to do.

Really hot crowd helped him alot but he looked so uncomfortable.

Yeah I do see your point to be fair, it didn't look natural, but I think it all worked out very well for him in the end. He might make a better job of a stuttering gimmick than Matt Morgan too, so there's always that. :D

When something like that happens and it gets such heat, you have to roll with it.

Well I think the beatdown with Gallows & Anderson flopped. They caught his arm in the cage door & then stamped on it a few times but got no reaction. Even the door banging made little noise. They should have wrapped shows arm through the bars & hit it with a a chair. Makes more noise & is more impactful.
Feel sorry for Balor was all set to be a world champ a year ago & now losing to the (I'll be kind) tedious Bray Wyatt to set up a rematch at Summerslam most fans don't care about.

What is the point of the shark cage match? For a start it works better having the heel in there. But even then I find the gimmick pretty stupid.

So when there is a face against 3 heels and the face is getting the loudest boos, you know there's something wrong. But does Vince know?

Jordan trying to use Hardy popularity.

I noticed the CW match didn't get purple ropes this time. Hope this is a sign of integrating them more into the Raw roster. But I doubt it.

Tozawa is one of the best things on Raw right now. He's great.

It's funny really, since not having him go full on heel after beating Taker they've done a lot right with the booking of Roman, he's just beyond repair at this stage and there's nothing they can do to save him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,087 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

I forgot Roman still has the Shields theme song so Shield minus Roman can't use it Sunday

A heelish Rollins/Ambrose vs the Hardyz could be good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,347 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

At least they didn't go the usual route for the fatal 4 way and have a tag match on Raw involving all 4 guys and make us wonder how can they co-exist?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,968 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

One thing I like about the main event is I don't think there's faces and heels. It's four monster tweeters.

Reigns is not a pure face; he constantly brings up retiring the Undertaker, is arrogant ("my yard", etc) and plays up to the boos. With Brawn. He's obviously the counter point to Reigns. Joe and Brock are the same; they just fought one on one in a match where the crowd backed both of them, despite their heelish characteristics.

The entire story is the crowd cheer who they want or boo who they want, but what they are going to get are four monsters tearing each other to shreds.

After successfully defending his Universal Championship, who's next to step up to challenge The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar?

Sasha won her 4th Women's Championship (ugh), will we finally see Bayley/Sasha, or will Alexa invoke her rematch clause?

How will Rollins & Ambrose get along as the new RAW Tag Team Champions?

What next for Finn after his win over Bray Wyatt?

And Akira Tozawa to get his rematch for the Cruiserweight Championship?

I'd say it'll be flat out rematches.

I guess they could get away with that, since I couldn't tell you any of the matches from Summerslam apart from the main event and the completely pointless shark cage match. I may have mentioned the pointlessness before
