Just bought two sets of bibs and a nice Mitre ball so should be set for Wednesday.

If someone could bring a spare ball or two, that would be appreciated.

Yeah, I kinda jumped the gun in organising Wednesdays game.

Future games will likely be Thursday, as that seems the most requested.

I am going to try and scout a few more locations and have a poll where the options will be like:
Location A, Tuesday
Location A, Thursday
Location B, Tuesday
Location B. Thursday
Etc.

I play in a game on another night on that pitch in UCD
7 aside is the best number on that pitch imo, although 6 is fine of course.
8 aside is even OK - making for a tighter game obviously.
If I were you I'd get a squad of 16 to 18 as there are ALWAYS people who can't make it on the night.
use teamer.net to sort out the attendance.
if you only have 5 aside you have to shorten the pitch as there is too much space.
It's also cheaper amongst a larger number.

The ones you are referring to are the old Astro Turf pitches which, to be blunt, look a bit shoite. No fun playing into those tiny goals!

The pitch we're using looks good, has big goals, just remains to see how it plays!

Hey I'd love to play if there are spaces left. Any day apart from Tuesday evening suits me. Is standard very important? I'm getting kinda decent again, but will need some more practice to get to my previous standard!

The standard will vary id say, and different levels of fitness.

Wed at that time and in UCD could suit me.
I already play down there during the week - as someone else said, 7aside is the best number, but you could even get 8 each worse case.
Not sure I can commit to every week, but would be more than happy to try make up numbers if needed.

(well done to all organising this... I know how hard it can be organising footie games!!

I put my name down as 1.

If people outside the 12 confirm, they can be replacements in the (severely frowned upon) event someone has to pull out.
