So... the system that works best is confirm your availability to come and play.

Once you confirm, you're expected to turn up. Don't confirm if youre not sure as its not fair on other lads if you dont turn up.

When you confirm, I will add you to the list of 12.

It is €6 each, which you can put in a zip bag i'll have by the goal on the day.

Thursday seemed like the consensus but hopefully we'll still scrape 12 for Wednesday

Hi lads. Just popping in from the cork 6 a side game. We started off asking around boards and now have games Monday's Tuesday's and Thursday's (with a waiting list for each night to) and we have entered into a local 6 a side competition on Fridays recently where we play other teams from the area.


Some advice would be to charge each player a little extra in the beginning to try to generate a small kitty, we used our first kitty to pay for the Pitchs in advance of using em and got a better deal from that. For example pay for 4 weeks and instead of €40 per hour we paid €30. Also things like bibs pumps balls etc can add up so if yed like it to go
Long term try get an extra €1 a person or something per night. Once we got established and had our system
Up and running we've all gone on the piss with the extra money in the kitty. One night we got got 3 pool tables for the night a few platters of food and around 6/7 free pints each. The kitty is great in the long term and gives ye room to argue for better deals. Also when trying for Astro especially now coming into winter,remember Tuesday and Thursday 7-9 are prime times for local soccer teams to train, we started during the summer so when the winter came and Pitchs starting getting booked out we had our prime slots with the deals in place

So 4 of the 18 have said they can't go Wednesday which leaves us to get 12 definites out of the remaining 14!
