    Exactly.

I'm in lemon and duke for dinner, ignore the Irish times review, Awec will report back with his review in a while.

We don't have that kind of relationship ibf, it's purely physical.

So, food was nice enough. Had pan fried hake with mussels with cheesecake for dessert.

Overpriced though. Hake cost 20 quid but came with no side order at all, was literally a bit of hake with 8 mussels around it. Spuds or chips an extra fiver.

Cheesecake was alright but I've no idea what flavour it was.

All in all decent but not great. 5/10 due to price, main, dessert and Guinness came in at 32 quid. Not value for money at all.

TBH I don't see it lasting. Too far off the beaten track and too expensive. Was probably the same number of staff as customers tonight. It doesn't have the reliable rugby crowd like the bridge to keep it ticking over.

    5/10 farls

What's next on the Awec Food Guide?

I had a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes in the kitchen.

Well presented with ice cold milk. Hints of peanut with a honey flavour coming through subtly.

    8/10

Proper crunchy nut or the Aldi knockoffs?

I've a hard time believing a Tyrone man would spend 3 quid on a box of cereal to get the originals.

Dunnes knock off cereals are nicer than some of the real ones.

Sounds like the sort of thing someone from Tyrone would say...

    Real McCoy's.

I don't spend anything on groceries yet the presses are always full. Used to be the same when I lived at home. Must be some kind of magic trick.

Now that I think of it there is some Tyrone blood in the family if you go back a generation or two.

You know the world is a very messed up place when someone lodges an official Garda complaint against you because you won a pub quiz!

Doesn't Tyrone blood tend to be on both sides?

No, I was one of a team of four....it was for a kickboxing club run by my brother.....frankly the oppo were useless and we won by 20 points....only took a box of biccies as my prize, let the others have the better ones.....and had a complaint lodged today as she said it was fixed
It was quashed inside 10 minutes....but still...ffs like....have you nothing better to do than lodge a complaint because you're as thick as a ditch and don't know the capital of Malaysia

So. Need to be in Houston for work on the 7th of November (I hear its a ****hole). Wondering how I can somehow convince work of a desperate need to fly via Chicago with a 2 day layover...

We're a joke of a club at the minute but RDM had to go. Results just weren't good enough and he looked tactically inept

Yes but for what feels like the hundreth time in a row we've allowed a manager to buy a bunch of new players in and then sacked him off. Whoever comes in now will probably be given money to spend in January and then get sacked a few weeks later. It's madness.
