Currently waking hungover people up to tell them Liam Williams is ripping the hole off the World Champs

Not scoring any points there could prove vital.

    Great half of rugby.

Wales 3/1 to win at half time, says it all really!

The NH teams are so slow moving the ball from the ruck. You have a team on the ropes and the SH is waiting 5 secs to move the ball. Wales are doing well in the scrum from the bits I have seen.

Very enjoyable first 40. I can't remember the last time Wales played this well, very impressive. North is making hay every time out right. Some of the NZ defence will provide fun-times entertainment for IBF for months - big order of Kleenex coming up.

If you thought NZ wouldn't miss McCaw...

Ben Smith has been class, but Liam Williams has also been very good. The Welsh weak link is Amos, he's getting skinned frequently by Naholo, who nevertheless has Kerry Gold on his fingers.

Well, well, well, Wales have a real chance here!

No mention of wingers being "strong defensively" or "hitting rucks like an extra flanker"....

Great half of rugby. Line breaks and off loads from both sides. If Wales can win this then you have to say fair play to them. Liam Williams showing what an attacking full back can do.

Was that Retallick or Romano who missed the tackle on Williams? That may be one of the worst misses of the season. Looked like over 50s tag

Let's hope Payne attacks space instead of running into defenders like the guy who is out injured...

Yeah great the way Liam Williams attacked the space that existed in the middle of the pack of Kiwi forwards there, hit them in that space between their shoulders...

Yes he has got the benefit of a couple of missed tackles but he has also picked a couple of lovely lines.

Just as well for Jonathan Davies that New Zealand had a penalty there. Looked like he was running through treacle.

    Jesus if North had scored.

Why did Davies skip 3 of his teammates with that pass? Should have just went through the hands.

Rolled out of bed to a text from a mate in Aus saying that Wales were beating the all blacks. Thought be was taking the piss.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

Looking at the welsh team, what happened there rule where they can only play 3 outside of Wales? Or was that a rule?

    North Northampton
    Davis Clermont-Ferrand
    Roberts harlequin
    Moriarty Gloucester
    Falateu bath
    Bradley Davis wasps
Back up fly half on the bench from bath..

It's called Gatland's law. A few of those players are moving home so they become elligible.

Cruden's kicking is an issue for NZ

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,604 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

That's classic making amends work from owens. "we are under pressure becuase I missed my jumper, I'm making this tackle"

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,462 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

    Some power shown by Naholo

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Those kiwis and their direct running into contact, finally paid off for them but I wish they played fluid attacking rugby like the NH team

    Predictable second half I suppose.

On reflection Wales probably needed to score on half time
