So the new Top Gear kicks off tomorrow evening @ 8pm on BBC2. I know the old one was far from perfect but Evans annoys me and I could not take Joey reviewing cars any way serious, so I'll be giving it a miss myself.

The old Top Gear became extremely scripted and noticeably so, but the lads were well used to it and we grew into it.

This is extremely scripted with new people and it's not working for me.

I wanted to like this more than I am so far.

I'm watching it and i'm seeing muscle cars and jet planes and **** but it's a bit meh ah best. I'm just not riveted. Early days though...

I think the whole thing is they're going to have to create their own traditions.

If they just draw on the original and tweak here and there they're doomed.

I never liked Chris Evans and nothing has changed in the last 23 minutes.

Was neutral about Le Blanc and he hasn't impressed yet.

Don't know about Sabine.

Overall, it's sh1te. Being the inaugural programme, this is probably as good as it will get with this team of producers and presenters.
