No, the Gardai and Irish army did not provide the loyalists with info or arms. The Loyalist terrorists were poorly armed compared with Republican terrorists. .

....well, perhaps if they had the wherewithal to go off and get some as opposed to hanging round outside the BA and UDR base to see what billy smuggled out in his lunchbox they would have a better arsenal.

    Maybe you can explain these?

So that makes bombing a crowded pub full of civilians ok?

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,564 ✭✭✭✭steddyeddy

Maybe you could explain how throwing a bomb in to a crowded pub in London, protecting the nationalist community?

Whilst their intentions may have been noble, a great many of their actions were not.

    Agree completly.

Do you condemn those war crimes?

Ironically, The Balcombe street gang threw bombs into pubs and restaurants, in a similar manner to the Paris attack, just not as spectacular.

Yeah, there's a pretty spectacular difference with killing a handful of soldiers who's Army is terrorisng apart of your country and killing 100's of civilians because they don't happen to share the same religious ideas as you.

How did the Balcombe Street siege go? All hostages out safe and sound, how many ISIS sieges can you say that of?

Altnaveigh Massacre - 17 Protestants massacred and the man behind it is a celebrated figure in this country among the political class and FF fanboys, biggest load of hypocrites going.

Don't worry, nobody takes anything you have to say seriously.

Or maybe something like "They haven't gone away you know" or how about a "Sniper at work" T-shirt?

You just love strutting around here with that Username don't you BalcomeSt4, knowing that most posters don't remember how many people your beloved gang killed .....

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,564 ✭✭✭✭steddyeddy

So we judge an organisation as a whole or by its worst atrocities? Are the IRA simply Warrington bombers killing young Tim Parry and are the British army murderers of unarmed civilians who shoot civil rights demonstrators in the back?

    Both sides have their atrocities.

That would be a good look for ye, it has to be said. Would look a bit odd on the washing line with the "Non-PIRA Type" though.

More anger at all the people killed in Dublin by your UVF & British Army mates that people don't remember.

Not said it was funny
but you condoned and praised the sick terrorists behind such atrocities. By the way, in every election (North , South and in Britain) the majority of voters voted for parties which condemned the PIRA. Not surprising as the PIRA murdered democratically elected politicians in the North , South and in Britain. And constituents in all jurisdictions.

    The Balcombe St4 / Gang.

After serving 23 years in English jails for their reign of terror, the four men were transferred to the high security wing of Portlaoise Prison, 50 miles (80 km) west of Dublin, in early 1998. They were presented by Gerry Adams to the 1998 Sinn Féin Ard Fheis as ‘our Nelson Mandelas’, and were released together with Brendan Dowd and Liam Quinn in 1999 as part of the Good Friday Agreement.

Thats what the people voted for.
    Please note Tom.

If they didn't support releasing them or 100% the GFA they could've voted no

Anyone with even basic knowledge of the "troubles" would know of politicians murdered in N. Ireland, Rep of Ireland and in Britain. Google for yourself if your reading / education does not extend beyond "an Phoblocht".
