    Haughey was not unknown to deal in huge amounts of money under the counter
    (remember in other matters to someone else he uttered "thanks a million ,big fella"). That did not surface until decades later and may not have done so except cops were called to a balcony in Florida.

    Shame on me? lol. We were talking about the PIRA and their "armed struggle" , and would they be talked about differently if their campaign was not a failure, with its death & misery, bombings, shootings, maimings, grief, loss of life, loss of limbs, etc. Thats what this thread was about. I always condemned unlawful activity from all sides, pity you do not.
