    This is true,

I'd expect him breeze through Nate in a pure BJJ setting pretty easily.
Nate has a great BJJ in the UFC, but competition BJJ is a different game. He no doubt has the skills to succeed there too, but he's not playing the game regularly, verses Danis who is doing it full time.

Who you got between him and Jackson Souza Saturday? Dillons confidence must be sky high after the Pan Ams. Won't be easy but I'm hoping he gets it done.

Work up to have a pee and saw a few texts from mini-marcos (little brother) who is in first year in Maynooth at the minute.

He was in a club in town (The Roost) and bumped into Simon Zebo, Robbie Henshaw and Devin Toner and was very excited.

But about an hour later I got an all cap text with "OMG I JUST MET GEORGE LOCKHART IN PIZZADOG WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND" which I gather is a late night fast food place in town and GL was wolfing down massive hot dogs with his misses.

I'm guessing Lockhart is staying in Carton House so that he's on call for Conor during the last few weeks of camp.

There's a snapchat thingy too, I'll ask him to send it on for the craic.

I would have said Jackson when it was announced. But the pan am absolute win was a big boost for Danis.

To keep momentum going I'll say Danis by arm in guillotine.

    Others predictions:
    Tonon to heelhook Burns

AJ to bully Minowaman the entire match

Imanari to imanari roll for a heel hook, Orchard to stuff it and win by double arm triangle

If all that comes off you may change your name to Mystic Mellor :)

Is it just me or is there something ironic about one of MMA's world renowned nutritionists being caught rapid in Pizza Dog in maynooth lol.

Him and his wife seem bang on sound from the interviews I've seen. That weight cut with Cyborg did not look fun. She gets fierce cranky with him.

How to know MMA has finally made it in ireland:

An American nutritionist helping Conor cut a few pounds is recognised by a 1st year fresher on the lash on a Thursday night lol.

    Couldnt make it up. :)

He should have went to Maximus, food is much much nicer.

Carton house isn't the worst place to be staying if that's where he is

He could be in the Glenroyal either. Conor has been using the gym and pool there the last few weeks.

Would you not contact Dillon directly instead of trying to get John to be the messenger? I'm sure he has enough to be doing.

Send Dillon a tweet or something.

Tis who I thought it was so.

Who are you people and how do you know so much about me!? I feel so violated. And naked.

I don't recall tapping anyone with chest pressure of late and you all choose your aliases so well I have no idea who you MIGHT be.

No, to answer your questions, Smullen hates leg locks and Lee is more of a karate guy than a bolo'er.

    Also, I'm actually Richie Crosdale.

Back on topic, I think Connor will win using his movement, style and nothing more. He won't even need to use his martial arse.

What is the reason Conor has given to preparing for this fight in Ireland vs preparing for Diaz in the states?

My guess would be he won't have to acclimatise for NY like he would for Vegas.

Well, no real need given that the distance from Dublin to New York is roughly the same as the distance from New York to Vegas and nobody would think it weird to train in New York for a Vegas fight, so why should they when someone trains in Ireland for a New York fight.

Your punctuation gives you away Hichy.

Just to add, your top pressure is poxy. Feels like you still weigh what you told us you used to weigh.

Ah I saw you grinding some poor fecker into the mat with your chest once a while ago and was also in a class you did about mount top where you went over the dynamics of chest pressure and posture and then a few high percentage finishes. You're a good coach btw. I do the anonymous thing because I like to pretend to be mysterious, and so I can't get myself into trouble :P

Wait... Feck... I still thought this was Richie Condon. You must be stupid confused at this stage!

I see McGregor is favorite for the fight with the bookies. He was narrow fav in his last one. When was last time he went in as underdog?

Think by the time they stepped in the cage the odds had narrowly swung towards Aldo.

Yeah, I think after the weigh ins people started to lump on Aldo given McGregor's gaunt appearance. By the time of the fight Aldo had gone favourite.

From memory he was initially chalked up underdog v Paul Hill at the Helix. It didnt last long but i remember Conor was still as big as about 4/6f with a couple days to the fight.
