Sorry to go off the topic, but I didn't realise until a few months ago Lorde was a real person. I thought it was just a madeup character in Southpark when Stan's da was singing her music :pac:

    Da fuk, she be real?

    Sonnens comments on Kavanagh

His coach cannot be putting anything out about him ever. Period. Ever. Because he doesn't get it!

Respectfully, Coach Kavanagh, you don't get it. You don't get it! Your student does. He gets it. Conor knows what's going on.

Every time you talk and think you're helping him, you're not. You're hurting the cause. You have to stop!

Conor cannot put out a post saying 'money made, bills paid, game slayed. Your move,' which means 'I do not care what happens, I'm handled either way. It's your move.'

He can't do that and three days later have you come out and say 'hey fans, please petition and get him back. Hey fans, please let's get him on the New York card.

It's never good for a trainer or manager to do this. Whether it comes from a good place or not, it's going to look like you're trying to get paid.

If one guy is sitting there, and the whole hand he's playing is 'I got enough, I don't need to do it. Won the titles, got the money, don't care, having a great life.' If he's playing that, that's a pretty good hand! But you can't show any cracks in it.

You guys have got to get on the same page,". "You want to hustle some hustlers, you better believe you've got to be on the same page! You can't have one guy come out and say 'I don't give a damn,' and have his trainer say 'boy, we sure would like to fight, can someone send some tweets in our favour?' It doesn't work!

Once there's a crack, it's unravelled, and the gig is up! You want to fight. You need the fight. The bills are not paid, the money is not made and the game damn sure hasn't been slayed.

That's the reality. We all knew that, and it was cool when it came out, but your own guy outed you."

Is anyone else a little disappointed that we probably won't get to see McGregor vs Dos Anjos this year? If his next fight is defending his featherweight belt and that's not likely to be until August or September, the odds of a lightweight fight for him before the end of the year seem remote.

To be honest, when Diaz vs McGregor II was first announced I was excited enough, but I'd been hoping all along that his next fight would be against RDA. I hope that isn't just being shelved indefinitely because it would have been an absolute nail biter.

August or September to defend FW title when Aldo/Edgar is only happening in early July? Doubt it very much unfortunately.

Its just hit me, Conor changed the entrance music for the fight against Nate didn't he? No Biggie music played...... I think we have finally figured out where it went wrong for him!

Well then if, as White has said, he's a possibility for 201, 202 etc - why not have a rescheduled RDA bout?

I can't be the only one who was seriously looking forward to seeing how that would have played out!

Yup, sounded like some tacky song from Fight Night round 2. Fairly dreadful.

Sorry, but that is not 100% right.

How the hell are Eminem videos, quotes and calls to put pressure on UFC 'sharing' what's going on? They're not. As Chael suggests, it's just weakening Conor's stance all the time. Poker standoffs, which is what this essentially was, only work when the other player doesn't know your hand. Conor was raising the stakes, standing firm and Kavanagh was then suggesting to people that they should go and put pressure on the UFC to fold their hand and not call McGregor's. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in Conor's hand now does it.

The only interviews he should be doing should be regarding training stuff and the like.

The Sheridan's cheese tweet I liked but otherwise he should have kept his mouth shut.

RDA is booked to fight Alvarez on the fight pass event during UFC 200 fight week

I hope this isn't considered abuse but I genuinely think John Kavanagh suffers from narcissism. There is no reason for him to try be in the spot light so much so why does he continue to cause drama?

Great coach but he should stick to coaching. As Connor said; 'back to basics' I think they both need to get their heads together. Such a meteoric rise is probably difficult to handle but the current situation is madness.

The Game & Skrillex - El Chapo

Personally I think that's the only explanation as to why Conor lost. The only one.

Well wasn't his stream with helwani, the highest viewed or something?

And he has a book coming out.

    Talk = money.

At least until Conor tells him to stfu. But Conor doesn't seem to mind other people profiting from his success. He likes to support his friends which is nice.

Being so supportive of Ido Portal is what got Connor into this whole mess! Supporting your mates is commendable but if its starting to affect your bargaining position or performance then it needs to be nipped.

lol are you still waffling on about that.
Every few weeks its the same, somebody points out your nonsense and you disappear for a bit.

Tell us again how Ido is his jiu jitsu coach :pac::pac::pac::pac:

Not really, Conor is well capable of speaking for himself and ensuring the fans are not in the dark, Kavanagh clinging to his coattails and involving himself, while sending a different message is not the smartest thing to do and it does smack of looking to get some of that limelight for himself.

This is also ignoring the fact that they don't mind keeping the fans in the dark until they are good and ready to make (often cryptic/trolling) comments.

    Edit: What Cathy said.
