    Vince is a superb pick.

I never thought he'd get to me, and it would've possibly been too easy to have him and HHH on the same roster, but I'd have found it hard to resist if he'd made it to me.

Like me exactly. Couldn't let him pass. Have never wrote him before for PW draft. Know I'm gonna miss a guy this round but can hopefully snag him in a trade.

Easily argued, one of wrestling's the greatest characters.

Even if this had been the world champ tag round Vince was right at the top of my list of potential picks but yeah was sure he wouldn't last to me this time. Hope I get to write for him some day though, great pick

p.s Thanks Liz, I hadn't updated the list in a day or so, so that is especially helpful and has now been copied and pasted into the OP of the picks thread.

Have to say those are some pretty even looking rosters so far...

Agree with the above, Vince is a great pick and with that roster it'll be fun seeing what he does because we've never seen Vince in charge of Hogan & Sting at the same time. I almost wish I had a later pick for this round because there's 32 eligible picks left on my list and I've no idea who to go for :pac:

I see Tumbleweeds in my pm inbox where I want to see offers for Benoit.

I would give him away only trades have to look someway fair.

If only David signed up for boards to be in the draft.

****. I wanted Vince so badly :( Vince and Austin together would have been perfect for the direction I want to go :(

Could have brought in his Tag Team Partner Shane O'Mac as well.
Shane V Hogan Last man standing

I was considering that when drawing up lists of potential picks although I don't think they quite qualify as having tagged regularly for 3 months, if I thought they had I woulda ran it by LTSC but by the looks of his post above he might have just decided to go for it himself had it been alright.

Obviously know you can't commit to continuing in the draft aaaaaaahhhhhh but I hope you keep popping in when you can. Always good to get feedback from folks not involved in the draft. Especially with 1st pick this round your roster had a lot of potential pity to lose you man

I'd agree with Walt as well that the rosters look pretty even so far which is a good sign although I do really like his and TBCs although both got low draws in this round (though I believe they will have good ones in the next round). The writing is bound to make the big difference if there isn't a major difference in roster lineups.

Vince was a world champ technically so he would be partner-less I'm afraid.

true I had actually only considered him for the stip that didn't happen round. Wonder if that stip might actually be worth doing again later, TNA actually made it quite hard to pick a lot of tag teams in one go due to their world title.

Once this years roster picks are complete Im gonna rate them all on inring ability, entertainment ability(mic skills etc.) also feud potential.

This obv has no bearing or effect on anything but is the only way I can take part in the draft without consuming too much time.

Anything else you folks would like me to rate your roster on?

Delighted with my pick there. Taz is one of my favourites as a teenager. Him suplexing the shít outta ppl is gonna be huge fun to write. Sabu is the cherry on top for me. If I cant make use of a total nutjob like Sabu then I shouldnt be doing this :pac:

Taz is a fantastic guy to write for he is my 1st World Heavyweight champion :)

Yep, loved booking Tazz last year and to get Sabu as well is a good pick. Was hoping Cody would slip through the radar as he wasn't on the list of alumni I had

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,724 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

Yeah Cody was not a name I had found or even thought of checking.

Him and Goldust are a great pick as they can be used in many ways.

Only world titles recognized in the draft are WWE/WWF, NWA till 1989, WCW, TNA and IWGP. So neither Sabu or Taz are "world champions"

Ah right strange that the ECW one is not included at least I know now before my pick

Hi guys, I'll be taking over from aaaahhh in this year's draft. Have made my pick now after talking to BH, hope that's ok with you all!! So many choices even with the stip but went with someone who suited my plans....

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 23,103 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

The Rock, Kane, Piper & Jeff Hardy

    lots of fan favorites there!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,724 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

    Nice pick and Welcome aboard.

I hope whoever was next before sign up didn't plan on picking Jeff!

Rock, Piper, Jeff and Kane are a nice Roster to write for.

So do I, don't want to annoy anyone after only ten minutes!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,804 ✭✭✭A Brad Maddox Guy

When did Jeff appear on ECW? I looked for him when I saw the stip but couldn't find anything. I didn't watch the reboot though so I'm not doubting that he appeared, just wondering why he's not included on an alumni list. Same happened with Cody Rhodes - he had a match on the reboot but isn't featured in the alumni list I found

I was going off the wikipedia entry about December to Dismember. Think they had another match on the TV Show as well the following week.
