Dublin is one of the most underdeveloped capital cities of Europe, there's massive land banks to build hundred of thousands of houses.

The travellers have a handy number in comparison.

An awful lot to be said for having a house on wheels alright.

We need to bring in thousands of immigrants. That'll solve the housing crisis.

Currently looking for a new one, but it will not involve the M50. I can't do it. Life's too short to spend hours on that big abominable mistake

    Fingers crossed for you Ally.

Winter commuting is pure hell. I didn't mind it so much in the Summer.

Isn't he the one who declared 'fancy a shag? fancy a shag?' about the kakapo's mating call?

BTW, the kakapo was the parrot in this memorable scene from Last Chance to See

What's happening? People don't have enough money for houses, is that it?

    Whose fault is it again?

Not being a dick, but is this an extra big problem now or what?

Number of problems. Banks are being overly careful now and sellers are holding out because they think that they market is going to shoot up any day now. Banks are the main problem from what I hear from the buyers perspective.

I think Alan Kelly is trying to do the right thing but making a pigs ear of it.

Speculating that you are going to prevent Landlords hiking rents above inflation is only going to spook them into raising rents before a new law is passed.

Hang in there Ally, I used to spend three hours commuting a day for a couple of years, by the time Friday came along I was wiped out....

I can walk to work now and it gives you a new lease of life. Stay true to your aspirations xxx

    Again, not being a dick...

But isn't that just banks being banks? Like, the usual business in this society?
