Is the weather playing a joke

I think the consequences of global warming for Sligo are cold Summers and mild winters meaning little variation

However this exceptional mildness has originated from a warm South Atlantic as iberia had its hottest Summer on record.

Also the sea stores this heat for up to 3 months.

Summer was all NW winds. That area is still a cold pool so if things were to shift direction a huge temperature drop is likely

It feels very cold despite the above average temp; 5 degrees lower than this time last night!
