  • Registered Users Posts: 2,321 ✭✭✭sham69

also got tipped Stephanie Frances so threw a tenner on it, gone to 18-1 with PP.

Sizing platinum gone to 3-1 , had a small bet on that aswell.
Lost a few quid yesterday so a winner today would be nice..

Great stuff Doc and PC. Was on three of the big ones singles. Thanks.

But was a bit miffed when I tried to back Powersbomb ante post with Lads. It was 33 online but couldn't get a price in shop. Ah well had a few quid each way with PP.

    You can't have everything.
Where would you put it. :-)

    Ladbrokes are c**ts for that.

Have a price online but when go into shop they won't offer you that price. I've had many a row with them over this! They say it's due to extra costs in shops, makes no sense. Bull****.

All other bookies can offer you the online price in shop some way anyway. But Ladbrokes won't lay it for 1 cent even

It's unreal isn't it. The last twice I went to back a horse with them I saw the price online, went in store and couldn't get in. No point arguing with the lad behind the till I just walked out. And they wonder why their shops are failing

Weld just pulled Rock Critic from the 3.00, meanwhile a ton of money has been coming for his other runner Roachdale House 6/1 at the moment.

sorry, why would you not put the bet online?

Restrictions I'd imagine. Happened to me for the first time yesterday with betfair. I'm not the better of it.

I wouldn't give Ladbrokes the pleasure of having my details.

Only use them the odd time. Had too many run ins with them over prices and short changing me to even want to deal with them unless a way better price which most times they won't lay anyway so it's all the one.

Very interesting runner for Weld in the 3.00 today, Roachdale House, first time running for Weld, previously with Fahey across the water, but they are backing it very strongly this morning, 14/1 into as low as 6/1. Meanwhile his horse Rock Critic the fav, is weak. Some 8/1 still left.

Weld pulls Rock Critic and Roachdale goes in as Joint fav then.

And now has pulled Roachdale House.

    Into the notebook it goes.

Is there a massive change in going?

    Specific Gravity 25-1 ew 3.00
Has some pieces of form agaisnt decent horses
Should improve for its two recent runs

    Fear A Chain 8-1 BS 4.05
    Yard expect a decent chance
    1pt ew at 8-1

    Santo Romano 14-1 ew 5.25
Only two runs this year, fell on first outing but
ran a decent last last time out when keeping on from
back over 1m5f. I like it's ew value here with 4 to place
    1pt ew

I have accounts with loads of bookmakers and back horses for a syndicate, give me an example of why someone might be restricted?

Being selective. Horses backed shorten, horses win. Accounts are marked. I have had it on a PP account. Restricted to back.
