    Because women don't watch porn.

But reading 50 shades of grey is totally fine, I mean you read it so it's totally different like.

Who said women don't watch porn? What are you talking about?

not one lady i've been involved with has had an interest.
although they all tolerated my mad love of porn , I was clearly told to watch it alone.

It wasn't specifically aimed at you. :P Just some of the opinions in this thread.

From my own personal experience, I've discovered it's perfectly acceptable to say you've read 50 shades of grey (as a woman) but as soon as someone mentions watching porn...oh no, that's not okay and women don't do that. I just find it very hypocritical.

I cliterally can't get to sleep without a bit of that. Quite... literally. My boyfriend is usually snoozing much sooner before I'm ready to go to sleep.

Aha, yea this is true. Well I misunderstood your post, sorry about that.

50 shades of grey is marketed as a book, where as porn can only be porn. I have read the book but I hear it's quite erotic.

Porns ok as long as it doesn't affect a relationship in a negative way and it doesn't become an addiction
Unfortunately when these things happen it can quickly ruins a relationship

Apologies, I did quote you. It was more tongue in cheek, not meant as a dig or directed entirely at you.

It's popular because of the sexy content in it. I read half of it, your wan can't write for sh*te IMO. The whole female contingent in my office were chatting and laughing about going to watch the film and most of them went and seen it. I just can't comprehend how it is socially acceptable to read erotica yet not watch porn. I haven't seen the film so I can only assume that porn is much more graphic and maybe that's the reason why.

Meh, I don't like the porn people are referring to when they talk about porn. Hate it actually. Bewilders me a bit when it's acted as if everyone is supposed to like it. Bit aggressive IMO and not one bit of a turn-on for me. It's emotionless.

That doesn't mean I don't like explicit sex depictions - I do - but with a love story or whatever at the core of it. Stereotypical female take, I guess. E.g. that show starting on Sky Atlantic tomorrow night - The Affair - supposed to be some seriously hot action in that, and I can't wait.

The answers to the OP's question like "A bit of porn hurt nobody"... well obviously.
What she's asking is, what do people think about him whacking off to porn in bed with her lying next to him.
OP, him enjoying porn in and of itself isn't an issue, so long as it doesn't eclipse your sex life/his attraction to you. If you feel a bit strange about him fapping away to porn with you lying next to him (understandable) say it to him - see if you can transfer this into intimacy between ye (although I know you said you don't have his sexual appetite).

The girls were really beautiful...i'm generally considered fairly good looking but I'd want plastic surgery ten times over to have the size of the bits they do!

No amount of plastic surgery will make a person good looking.

Yeeah, if he was masturbating to porn beside me in the bed, I'd tell him to fook out and do it somewhere else. If ye have a healthy sex life like you say, he shouldn't feel the need to watch porn right beside you like.

Porn is great either on your own or with someone else, but a partner whacking off to porn beside you in the bed is just....weird.

I would rather they masturbate to me but hey I guess it's ok???

    Once it's legal porn.

I've never really gotten the attraction to porn myself but if have no issue with a partner who did. Me thinking about getting it on with someone is that sand as him watching it, the only difference is I have more imagination!

If your sex life is good I wouldn't take an issue although if it's in bed when im trying to sleep? He won't have the equipment to **** anymore if I don't get my rest :pac:

That's how part of me feels but the other part well, what if he's just horny (when I'm not) and it helps him to turn over and fall into a deep slumber after (which is what happens)?

On the other hand...umm..wonder will I click on some porn directed more towards females (if there's such a thing!!) or begin to oogle over some naughty pictures of handsome men online just while he's settling in between the sheets! He he,...feeling curious....

Well tbh you've said you can't satisfy him sexually, so basically he takes care of it himself so that he is able to sleep (trying to sleep when sexually frustrated isn't a lot of fun).

Revenge porn looking at not because you want to but out of some sense of justified spite doesn't seem like the most productive thing to do either. I'd call it childish but given the subject matter I think that might make things a bit weird.

Maybe if you explain to him that it's making you feel a bit insecure it could start a conversation about things?

If he wanked beside me I would prob end up getting involved. Unless I was completely knackered. I would want his attention on ME then!

It's a bit weird not to mention disrespectful to lie in bed beside someone and **** off to pictures of other women. Every single night?! No it's not really ok and I fail to see how not liking him doing it means she's insecure.
