    Haha so it seems! :pac:

Ah no, the plan now its to start getting the 9-5 sorted out and get the 900s steering looked at and repaired while adding a few little mods here and there along the way, stopping power first, going power later

I owe you an explanation (especially for nd, who asked) regarding 4A-FE engine.

It was indeed in (at least) two versions (well, actually more, but now speaking exclusively about T22 Avensis).

So, yes, there were 2 versions of them, 110hp and 101hp a.k.a. Lean Burn. Now, how to determine if your's LB or not:

    https://translate.google.pl/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=pl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.carina-e.ru%2Ffaq%2Findex.php%2F%25D0%259E%25D1%2581%25D0%25BE%25D0%25B1%25D0%25B5%25D0%25BD%25D0%25BD%25D0%25BE%25D1%2581%25D1%2582%25D0%25B8_LeanBurn_%25D0%25B4%25D0%25B2%25D0%25B8%25D0%25B3%25D0%25B0%25D1%2582%25D0%25B5%25D0%25BB%25D0%25B5%25D0%25B9&edit-text=&act=url

    Google translated from Russian.

"poor" means LB, "candle" means spark plug.

    Hi all,

Posted in the normal motor section but no replies, just wondering if anyone had any dealings with Dillon Car Sales in Listowel. I'm looking at a car they have advertised online and just looking for some feedback on the garage.
    Thanks.

Always something simple. Finding it is the killer.

Now you said it, I've a boost leak (still) on mine, I know the location of it, it's just finding the cause of it now, could be a dodgy seal or something, fun times ahead

Causing what, an idle problem was it? EDIT: Oh, no - it was dead, wasn't it.

Yep, no kick from the starter at all, minute I replaced it she started without even a bit of hesitation.

Where is that fuse located, just so I know in case it happens my e39.

What the hell caused it to go? Heavy duty fuse 100A?

Inside of the Glovebox there's two twist caps, twist those and pull the fuse box down, the fuse guide is inside that too.

It's not a heavy duty fuse, just a normal car fuse from what I could tell.

Thought you meant one of the big guys in the engine bay. Ah, immobiliser or ECU fuse so I'm guessing. Would still wonder what happened to cause it. Is it the right rating for what should be there?

Yep, I thought it wouldve been one of the big ones too. It's the right rating alright, replaced it with one of spare ones too.

Oh yes they are normal car fuses in there, I also thought it was a heavy duty one when I first read your post. You done well to spot it. Awkward place for fuses to both get at and see. (Unless it is different on newer model e39's.

This is why I hate electrics some times. They can be an absolute bitch. Fair play for getting it sorted

Yeah I'm absolutely delighted with it to be honest. The bodyshop is throwing in some free work for the mess up, doing the big dent along the bottom of the passenger door, can't really fault that to be honest!

No they didn't cause it, it's more that the owner told one of the lads to check those fuses, said he had so we looked at other options, which lead to a new key being bought from BMW, to make up for this he wants to do me a favour :)
