I currently have Forster in goal, anyone think it would be worth it to transfer to Lloris for DGW?

Was also thinking of transferring Sanchez for Sterling. I don't know which would be best as I only have 1 FT and don't want to do both as I already took a -8 last week.

    Any advice?

Forster with one game will probably keep one clean sheet more than Lloris in two.

Re Sterling, he's played alot of games in a short space of time. I'm not overly rushed to bring him in. Coutinho actually looks a good bet.

Liverpool supporter here in work reckons Sky did a good piece on how Liverpool's system is playing to Coutinho's strengths.

I would only do it if I planned to keep him for the rest of the season as otherwise you have to consider it two transfers and you only have 11 transfers left so that would be a lot to use on a GK you really only want for 1 week and his points expectancy for the week really wouldn't justify it.

Not really as if he played the WC the hit would be erased.

But yes, I agree that there will be much more profitable times and better (proper) DGWs to come to use your WC.

Your transfers so far are good moves IMO, and I don't think Sanchez to Caz is one to do just to facilitate Sturridge, especially if you think Sanchez will fire soon. It would be nice to have Eriksen and Silva and Studge for this week, but I doubt many will have all three plus Hazard, Aguero, Kane and Sanchez.

Thanks for the reply. Ye I think it makes sense to hold off a bit on the WC, even though it is kind of starting to burn a hole in my pocket :).

Not having Austin is a small worry but he has 2 very tough games, hopefully he won't do too much damage.

    Cheers

I might have a think about Coutinho, I've been thinking about transferring him the last couple of weeks. I think I will definitely sub Sanchez anyway. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably keep Forster as wouldnt keep Lloris for rest of season

Going to bring in Bentaleb for Ameobi and play him ahead of Downing this week! Also wondering if having Danny Sturridge up front is a waste of good funds he has had a pure cameo role up so far since returning from injury! Costa at least is guaranteed a game! Might even go Austin for the week that's in it then decide to who to get back in at the weekend?

Transfers are so valuable now it does seem like it would be a bit of a waste. If you have your WC still then that changes things. I have gone with 3 Spurs but have mine still waiting in the wings.

No I lost my WC at end of Jan as I never used it before deadline! Was thinking about bringing Eriksen in but I have Silva, Ozil, Sanchez, Hazard & Walters in MF already & don'think he's worth swapping anyone there. I have Kane & he's my only Spurs player.

Must look to see if any cheap QPR Midfielders I can swap Walters for.

Any hope of Sterling being rested v Burnley?
120 plus 90/in 4 days and Sturridge needing gametime.

I'm hoping he is the one to drop out for this game at least.

Meant your other WC hopefully you still have that then! Phillips is the pick of the QPR midfielders imo his numbers look very good.

Will do Di Maria to Silva and Cissé (my one week punt) to Kane.

    I already have Eric's son :)

    Gets coat...

My current DGW coverage is Kane.

Will I get in Eriksen? Rotation risk.

Will I get in Austin? Two difficult games and I don't think I want him long-term.

Will I get in a Spurs defender? Again, not sure if I want long term.

As far as I'm concerned, it's barely a DGW so I'm not going to invest heavily.

Spurs have conceded 19 in 12 away games (2 CS) and Arsenal have conceded 18 in 14 away (4 CS). QPR have scored 18 in 13 home games. I'd expect 2 QPR goals over the 2 games and be hopeful of 3, and Austin is involved in a lot of QPR's attacking returns (albeit they have dried up a bit more recently). I've taken a punt on him with my FT. Nothing else jumping out at me for the DGW apart from Kane obviously.

I don't know what to do now?

Ozil, Eriksen, Sterling, Coutinho, Silva all 'in' possibilities. Leaning towards Ozil and Sterling at the moment

Sanchez, Downing, Yaya the 'out' possibilities. Probably won't sell Yaya yet with Leicester up next.

Can someone please advise what I could/should do? 60 behind in ML.

    Edit:
I have enough for Downing to Coutinho. No hit that way but no Eriksen and still have a misfiring Sanchez

No I used that much earlier in the season. Might look at the QPR player mentioned & use him as my free for this week.

Think Sunderland ended up suspending Wes Brown in error

I would go with Sterling over Coutinho. Coutinhos goals and most of his shots have all been from long range so it's unlikely he'll maintain his current hot streak.

Sterling is the opposite, he gets a lot of chances in the box, he probably is under performing infront of goal as he's missing a lot of those chances so I'd expect his output from now until the of the season to improve.

This is exactly what I was thinking earlier and it's putting huge doubts in my mind about getting him in..............

The plus though is that I can do a straight Downing - Coutihno. Can't do Downing to Sterling without a hit

Don't get me wrong, Coutinho is still a good transfer if funds are an issue, he'll get a lot of assists and obviously his shooting has come on. He's a great player to watch too so he'll keep you entertained 😀

I defintely think there's a chance. Sturridge will come in up top and coutinho will be one of the two in behind so either lallana or Sterling to miss out. Due to playing 120 on Thurs I think it may be sterling plus with sturridge they then have the pace they need in the team.

Mane to Eriksen done with my one FT

Have Eriksen, Kane and Austin now and think three double players is enough

I don't look for much help or advice here in recent seasons, but I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I still have my WC left to use, I had every intention of using it this gw being a dgw.

The thing is I'm not sure if I need to or not, I've managed to ship out Adm and yaya for eriksen and Silva for a - 4 hit, that leaves me with eriksen and Kane for spurs cover. Ideally I'd like to swap Sanchez for carzola and Defoe for sturridge this gw too, that would require me to WC but am I making a mistake in downgrading Sanchez to carzola to fund the sturridge move ?

I've a gut feeling Sanchez will hit another bit of form soon, if I take him out now I'll lose loads, I got him at 10.6 million. I'm top of my money league by 40 odd points, only one other has sanchez due to his price, he's a serious differential but I feel sturridge esp v Burnley will also hit a bit of form.

Any help, appriciated, baiscally to WC now or later ?

As a couple of posters told you it may not be the best timing to use your WC now. Your 2 transfers are good (even for -4).

Re Sturridge. If you mainly bring him in for the Burnley game but overall you're happier with Sanchez long term then keep your WC for later. Chelsea have a DGW34. There may be other blanks & DGW depending on FA Cup results. So you'll be in a great position at this time with your WC.
I think I'm going to have to do Cazorla or Sanchez to Eriksen for a -4 to protect myself. The annoying thing with Eriksen is that his goals are usually worth 7/8 points since he's so good at BPS.
I have absolutely no idea what side Wenger will put out on Wednesday. Rosicky and Walcott are both theoretically in line for a start which could mean Sanchez and Cazorla both miss out (I think at least one will).
So you reckon Giroud is less a rotation risk than these 2 (considering Giroud was already rested)?

Can you do Yaya -> Silva & Downing -> Eriksen ?

I know it's a -4 for a sideways move and a non guaranteed 180min-er but they both have very good fixtures coming. Yaya is not on great form. Maybe he's tired after AFCON. Maybe there's a pressure relief from finally winning it and he struggles to get back to his standard commitment.

I'd wait 1 or 2 games on Ozil and see what Sanchez's doing. If the current situation continues you could do a direct swap easily.

About the Liverpool lads, after the Burnley game they have 3 tough enough fixtures. From GW32 onwards it looks a lot better. Though I agree form > fixtures.
