But sadly - that is the risk , not to mention 80 % of coverage for a 76.

I would hope - and as we know Tiger , he is thinking this way.

He will only play, if he can play well.

Making a cut is an achievement - but you'd imagine Tiger only wants to play if he feels a Top 20 is in him.

I agree with you it always bugs me about it they should just have a tiger button :)

On the other hand im still waiting for a week that him and Rory are both on top form id love to see it but doubt we ever will,

no, everyone here loves golf - we just have some friends, who struggle to get joy from that love.

    It is complicated.

Life is complicated haha, I'm a lucky man my partner hadn't a clue about golf a few year ago but she will now happily sit and watch the "big" tournaments with me lol.

He could conceivably win the thing but I am pretty certain he is there primarily to discharge obligations to his sponsors.

It is not realistic to think that will happen soon - it will ( I hope) , but - I don't think you turn up to a major, first time after an outage and play very well.

You can - but not sure that is on likely side for Paddy and Tiger this week - making a cut will be a good result for both.

True but if anyone can do it tiger can do it, I'm not a tiger fanboy but I do recognise he has constantly done the impossible so I wouldn't put it past him.

Takes a bit of focus and heat off Rory this week and on arrival to play. The tiger circus will be in town.

well there's no doubt he is getting a handsome appearance fee.
It's tough on the guy, he must know his game is no where near right for competition, hats off to him if he makes the cut.

Do they really pay an appearance fee for a major?:eek:

I love The Open as a links man.

But this is the best event.

Has been slowly dawning on me ill be away for this.
And the nearest thing to me is a nudist beach or beach.

But I'll find some Irish Bar somewhere.

But am in the middle of nowhere.

Surely there will be non Irish bars showing the Masters!?! Where are you going? (not that I'm jealous or anything)

Canaries. But wife likes away from it all. Not "howya" resorts.

Even Spanish commentary would be annoying.
Have found tv in spanish hotels to be rubbish and always a bull fight or daft 2nd division soccer game on.

Golf definitley a minority sport there.

But I'm good at finding something.

I think its just to be part of the Masters pageantry. Tiger one of the honorary starters with Jack, Gary, and Arnie. Says he is determined to play at least 9 and beat Palmer.

Will you have decent Internet access? If so a solution to your problem shouldn't be too hard :-)

About 2 years ago here i said. Phil deserves or could win more majors than Seve.

I was told i was nuts and it wouldn't happen.

    Things look very interesting.

Internet poor as per trip advisor.

I'm sure it will work out. Family time and all that
