Good point emmet. Jacothelad is also know as William. And of course it was William who first picked up the soccer ball and gave us rugby. Ergo, we are all indebted to Jaco for the enjoyment his sport brings us. Cheers mate!

I've still got that ball knocking around somewhere, probably in the same chest as my powdered wigs and tri-corn hats.:D

I heard that Tom Brown's School Days is actually Jaco's autobiography...
Actually I was known as William Webb Harry Flashman Ellis in those days.:D...Flashman is great( Read the |George MacDonald Fraser books if you want a good laugh.)

You'd expect a good victory for the wolfhounds given the strength of the side expected to play this evening.

We are strong but the Saxons have a decent side out too. We certainly have more experience. It would be nice to lay down a marker but I imagine getting certain players gametime and through unscathed is more important in the grand scheme of things.

Any chance of a Wolfhounds game in Ravenhill soon? Has there ever been one?

Ah ****e. That's actually terrible news - even if it's a bug it ruins his chances of featuring in the 6n

FFS he cannot get a break. At least it means he can't get injured this week..

Update, he's just ricked his back whilst dry-heaving into the toilet bowl, out for 4-6 weeks.

Think Conway has been going well this season in difficult circumstances. Strikes me as being a few performances away from a bit of a breakthrough

i dont think so, he has played plenty of rugby lately and has been playing very well. I dont think he was on trial tonight, I think it was like Madigan just a chance to give him gametime in a position he hasnt played much lately. I still think he will make the 23

Dunno. Just heard this on RTE news. I'm disappointed for Luke, but relieved he hasn't picked up an injury.
