    Mad Max: Fury Road.

This is getting good reviews. Has anyone seen it? It's also got Elvis' grand-daughter in it, I see.

Gonna check it out tomorrow night. Looks amazing, but I was a fan of the originals so probably biased.

    Actually I meant Thursday night!

Yeah hoping to get to see it myself. The reviews I've seen basically say there's no story though and it's all just a fun rehash of the last 2 films chase scenes. I was always more fond of the first Mad Max than the sequels because of the story so I'm a little apprehensive about this one.

Having Clare vs Limerick in the hurling at Thurles is a joke. You're making both sides travel east.

I've never seen a Mad Max film but this is getting excellent reviews and I am tempted to go see it.

They always play in Thurles though, Cusack Park doesn't hold any Munster Championship games because it's too small, so there's no home/away agreement. Thurles more likely to suit Clare, though we did beat them there in 2012.

Some of the suggestions for the new NZ flag are crazy!

There's no age limit, so maybe a kid drew this one.

There is a tiny signature in one of the spokes I think. Looks like .ak? Or something...

I was thinking "swiwi, aged 36 and a half"

Trust me, I am an absolutely desperate "artist", the most basic of stick figures would be my limit, so that bicycle thingee is already way past my capabilities.

I can't say anything other than it's not a bike.

It's your modern art take on a Kiwi? Tate Gallery style.

I'd be interested to hear what you think having not seen the others tbh. There's quite a major departure from the first film to the second. If you've ever seen Doomsday by Neil Marshall the chase scene at the end is an homage to the latter 2 Mad Max movies.

I think this Flag would encapsulate both the national bird, the national game and the national Hero:

...does there happen to be a website where all the suggestions are being put up?

    Hey Teferi, there is yeah.

Might have even made a suggestion myself...

Anyone else going to Slane this year?

Not a great line-up. Foo Fighters are the height of mediocrity. I can't understand their sustained popularity. Kaiser Chiefs? They had that one album with that one song in around 2005. Didn't even know Ash were still going.

The Strypes and Hozier are great though.

Apart from the latest album I think Foo Fighters are brilliant, they're just good no-frills rocks with southern and classic edges at times. New album is completely meh tho, too commercial/poppy/whatever.

But live they're a totally different animal. The get loose, big time. I've seen them 3 or 4 times and each time has been amazing, consistently good rock band to see live.

Really want to see Foo Fighters, best live act on the planet IMHO but no one I know is going, hate slane as a venue too but would have gone anyway.

After multiple trips to Slane in days gone by, the thought of going at 31 years old in a wet May gives me a rash.

I'm going and looking forward to it, though I really hope it isn't wet and muddy as I can't be arsed with that crap. I've never been to Slane before though.

Personally I am not really bothered about seeing any of the support acts.
