I'd prefer him to Ray D'Arcy any day.

So the surviving Boston bomber gets the death penalty......in other breaking news, water is wet, the sky is blue and I'm a little sarcastic

Not a fan of the death penalty but I wonder is he glad he got it, would it be preferable to live every day of your life in lock down for 23 hours, always looking over your shoulder or be put to death?

That moment when you go through the traffic lights on just about green and when you stop at the petrol station and the guards are behind you!! In fairness he was sound...He says he saw as much red as I saw green. He then tells me we'll treat it like the gaa and he'll give me a black card!! 20 years driving with 1 point and I plan on keeping it like that!!

Got on the bike tonight for the second time in about 2 years. Used to be able to do 70 / 80Km on my own with little hassle, but after 13km tonight I thought I needed a defibrillator.

Absolutely donald ducked right now on the sofa.

Haha, we signed up to Tour de Burren a few years ago. A totally miserable day. It was really windy and really wet, and the burren is so flat it was just awful. Ended up calling it quits after about half way, the route is like a figure of 8 with the start / finish right in the middle of the 8 so there was an opportunity to just leave.

Finally got my home gym room sorted. There are very few things more satisfying than when you contact your gym to cancel your membership and they ask why you say because you don't have to que for a rack anymore.

Safe to say you have no kids if you have that sort of space

It's the same colour and even at that mine is covered in bits of bread, various yoghurt stains and a mark left by a bottle of spilt orange juice, which can be disguised with a carefully placed cushion.

Also notice how he positions his apparatus right by the window so the neighbours can look in on him squatting. :D

Nice one .ak, you going to add a set of dumbbells to go along with the rack? Would love the space to do it!

It was probably just an excuse to put the big mirror in, which will get more use than the weights.

Yeah... How did you know that?

I put down 2 8x4 sheets of 18mm mdf under the rack and then 2 sheets of 5m rubber under the rack to protect the mdf/my feet

Have a set of Dumbbells it's just off shot. Where the bare floorboards is to the right. I'm also putting in a suspended heavy bag, just need to buy a stand for that, at the moment there's a stationary bike but that'll probably make room for the punch bag.

I'm probably gonna buy more of those rubber mats and line the bit of the room with bare floor and use that as my stretch/general work out area

Because that's exactly what I found after tearing up the carpets here to refinish the wood beneath :)

Legend of a player. In his prime he was super to watch. Never really shone for the national side though
