Reminds of the best section of Die Hard Trilogy, set during Die Hard 2.
Looks terrible now, but still plays great.

I dont think it looks terrible at all, the terminal level was so detailed for the demo you could set off every water sprinkler, knock every ceiling tile, shoot holes in the walls, shoot up the furniture with textures falling off.

Amazing detail for the time, and the atmosphere the soundtrack brings to that level is fantastic.

The quality and detail definitely diminished in the further levels though.

The terminal level is still my favourite level out of any shooter I've ever played.

They really should have had a rhythm action sequence featuring naked martial arts practice with Col. Stuart.

Hands up who else got through it using just a controller.

I played that opening level in the demo thousands of times when I first got a ps1 and don't think I've ever played it with a Predator lightgun, ever :D

I think its actually better to play with s controller, it feels really smooth even with the dpad, they did a great job optimizing the acceleration of the crosshair.

Ive played it with a light gun before but the firing animation that comes up on screen feels very laggy or something.

Christ but the other two levels are pants though.

Even worse were the typical Gamesworld customer who was incapable of pronouncing Trilogy.
    Try-ology was typical.
Funnier was when Gran Turismo came out.
Grand Tiramisu I was asked for, no joke.

I'd deny it if there wasn't audio recorded evidence :(

I didn't know how to pronounce 'meme' for ages either.

In fact, I am still not 100% sure... :(

Feel like Carter in Family Guy...
“Is that how you say that? I’ve only seen that word written.”

Dawkin's idea was that it was supposed to sound like gene.

As in "meem" I believe. I just don't say the word in my head when reading it. :pac:

And I heard some folks pronounce Deus Ex as "day us X"? Sounds weird.

It's a psychological gene, a self perpetuating element but instead of being made of physical matter, a chemical key that is replicated according to the rules of inheritance and hence the engine of the evolutionary process, along with resource exploitation (just like No Man's Sky), the meme (sounds like gene) does exactly the same thing but it's a concept, not something concrete, owing it's existence entirely to the processes of our psyche, and our interpretation of the world around us.
When a meme successfully exploits a feature of the world we live in, as social creatures, it survives by being replicated and repeated, same evolution as it gains a foothold in the minds of those exposed to it and stays there as long as it is not out-competed by another, more successful one.

    Or something like that

The movie was do much fun. I was waiting to binge it with JoJos being out the sane time. I'll get to it. I heard the soundtrack could have been better for the anime?

So it's in came order not timeline order, I suppose they couldn't have done that either.
Really looking forward to giving it a watch, I'll keep you updated. Ace Attorney (that's a surprise :pac:) is watching it too atm if you're looking for someone up to date.
