Hololens seems to be their next fray into the weird and wonderful. Looks interesting, not sure it'd top vr for me though. That could change next year with Scorpio, there's suggestions that they'll pair with Oculus and the rift will be compatible. I think that could hurt psvr

So, really the thing to do is not pull the trigger on anything until next year, possibly late next year, when we can see how the various approaches are getting along and which one is worth investing in.

For consoles, I think so. For PCs it's way clearer...the vive seems to be the reigning champ. Dat price though! Oculus would appear to be a comfortable second, with psvr being good, but limited compared to the others.

Once Oculus gets those new controllers there's won't be much separating it from the Vive.

Don't worry, they'll re-open the forum when they announce the Dreamcast 2.

    Important Information

3V Vouchers are no longer available for sale. Existing 3V Vouchers can still be activated for a period of two months following purchase (per the Validity Period stated on your 3V Voucher). Existing 3V Visa numbers will expire two months after the last day of the month in which the 3V Voucher was activated.
Well, there goes my main method of buying stuff online.

Most banks give you a Debit Visa these days. So much handier and cheaper than 3V and the like.

Ahhh, well, ya know...I'd probably need to open a bank account and transfer all my savings over there if I want to take full advantage of it. Though I have been considering such a method lately.

O2/three money still do a similar card. Haven't used it in years but was the same story as 3v.

Yeah, but don't you need a 3 phone number for that? I'm on Vodafone.

Can I also state that I also don't have a smartphone for that kind of thing?

That's another thing I was thinking of getting.

3V is only for buying online porno.

I use my debit card on the odd site (mainly Nike). If the site looks a bit suspect though, I'll use a swirl prepay MasterCard through PayPal. Used 3V for a short time but the charges were steep enough.

The Swirl card isn't cheap either, fees apply on every use, but it's not the worst in the world.

I don't think so, I got one of them years ago (back when it was o2) and I was on meteor at the time.

Edit: looks like you do need to be with three now. Try the swirl card http://www.swirlcard.com/index_shop_online.php?gclid=CJ23oNf3h84CFQKy2wodjx8HJA

Not sure if it's a good idea but you could get one of those post office sterling / dollar cards if you don't want to get a debit card from the bank?
A friend I'd mine still using 3V too lol I haven't in years
