    Downgrading Aguero (to Dzeko/Bony/Benteke) leaves me with a lot of extra money that is burning a hole in my pocket. Basically allows me to upgrade Kane or Fellaini.

    Quick A/B poll please.....
    A) Fellaini and Lukaku
    B) Yaya and Kane

    B

    That's why I'm not transferring anyone in until later in the week. Can't believe the amount of people transferring in Costa, Yaya etc before the midweek game.

    Costa will not play 1 minute midweek and Yaya wont either seen that he is suspended! SAFE transfers! :pac:

    Sanchez is being rested for tchampions league, does anyone think he'll be back for the next round of PL games, I've Kun and fab, feel like I need them both out befor they lose value, thinking Benteke and Sanchez if he'll be back

    Money and squads aside, how would people rank the Aguero alternatives for the next 6 weeks.....

    Think I'd go...
    Costa
    Rooney
    Dzeko
    Lukaku
    Benteke
    Bony
    Giroud

    Obviously others out there too (Austin Carroll probably my next two). Just looking at the big names

    Thinking Fab to Yaya and Aguero to Dzeko. Thoughts?

    Will leave me with 3.4 in the bank. Are Fab and Aguero going to drop tonight?

    Too busy watching the pennies and you haven't got a hope of doing well IMO, the money means nothing at the end of the season, your team value means nothing, only resale means anything.

    Getting rid of the best player in the league, and subsequently being unable to afford to buy him back (aka "watching the pennies", according to you) hardly seems like a wise move. I agree that the money means nothing at the end of the season - obviously, the only thing that matters then is my points total - but the money will matter if I can't afford to get Aguero back in, my rivals do, and he romps away on a goal streak when he gets back.

    I'm speechless. You are keeping him só?

    4 transfers, 8 point hit.

    Aguero -> Austin
    Duff -> Terry
    Chadli -> Yaya
    McCarthy -> Pantimilon

    I know I'm transferring in a suspended player but it's worth it in the long run. If there was a game for Austin to miss, it would be the next one. It allows me to field 11 which are:

    Pantimilon
    Terry, Taylor (Swan), Baines, Wisdom.
    Hazard, Downing, Sanchez, Yaya.
    Costa, Bony.

    Subs: Elliot, Austin, Chambers, Quinn.

    Next transfer will be Quinn -> Boyd. Leaving me with 14 outfield players for the Christmas period.

    I've narrowed my Aguero replacement down to:

    Sahko, Bony, Lukaku, Benteke, Rooney, RVP, Falcao, Giroud.

    Follwed by outsiders such as
    Dzeko, Carroll, Jovetic, Welbeck, Pelle, Ulloa, Ings

    It's going to be some fun committing to one.

    I'd hate to have seen your list of potential replacements before you narrowed it down! :)

    Most challenging period of the season now. How to deal with Kun injury and chambers and fab both out as well. Have a cushion over many in my leagues so maybe a 4 point hit to bring in Hazard and Rooney. .7 in the bank will help to bring Kun back potentially.

    In a nutshell, I haven't a clue

    God, no - I just wanted to have a whinge about the money thing :-D

    Rightly or wrongly I'll be considering chasing points with RVP this week :pac:

    Yes, it's a complete knee-jerk, but I'm very tempted to get Van Persie as the Aguero replacement in as a 3 week punt until Dzeko gets up to full fitness or we see how City will line up without the man himself.

    Ugh. I really don't know what to do. :(

    Ah right, didn't think of that.

    I might actually go against my pervious comment and bring in Costa for aguero in that case! I'm certain that's who I want to bring in. Aguero dropping will lose me 0.1m tonight, and good chance of Costa rising tomorrow, so that would be 0.2 saved.

    Seems like a mass exodus of Fabergas.is anyone holding onto him and benching him this week?.thats my initial plan.I can afford a sideways move to hazard but then I lose the value I bough Fabergas at.Although Fabergas manages to drop by .3 this week then it may be the correct move to get rid.

    Krul > Courtois
    Aguero > Sakho

    for a minus four

    Aguero to Costa.
    Maybe Chambers to Zab for a hit as I think that could pay off immediately given my other defence options. Just slight fear that if Zab is gonna get a rest if could be against Leicester.

    Is Yaya really worth it?

    My plan was always to get Silva in when fit... But his return seems to take longer than expected.

    City mids have dire stats though (bar Yaya). It's only Aguero who's getting the points. For City & Aguero FPL-wise it's really a case of you can't see the wood for the trees...

    City fixtures are exceptional though...

    This is my line of thought too. I've just completed the Aguero to Costa transfer because Kun is going to fall in price tonight.

    Chambers looks like he might get away without losing any value for a couple of days. Zabaleta is the one city defender that is on my radar to replace him. I will hold off on this transfer though til I see how city line out in the Champions League. The starting lineup there may give us a better indication of who will start at the weekend.

    Was going to go aguero to either Bony or Dzeko or rooney
    Won't lose value on Kuns drop, will on Bony rise but if dzeko plays the match mid week or looks sharp he comes in. Rooney didn't make the cut after tonight.
    Can field 11 players then- but might move yaya in too or wait a week mmm

    if I take a points hit now but then wildcard later in the week, will I still get the points hit?

    It's a huge dilemma alright. Looking at some of Yayas stats for the last 5 gameweeks:
    Game | QPR(A) | SWA(H) | SOU(A) | SUN(A) | EVE(H)
    Points | 5 | 10 | 10 | 2 | 10
    Goals | 0 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1
    Assists | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
    BPS | 0 | 3 | 2 | 0 | 3
    So he is on a bit of a golden streak at the moment. How long will it last though?
    His next 5 games look like this:
    Lei(A) | CRY(H) | WBA(A) | BUR(H) | SUN(H)So that is as good a run of games as you could hope for. Does Aguero missing mean that Yaya will take on a more advanced position, meaning more FPL points? 3 of those 5 games are at home so the potential for big scores is certainly there. This run of games takes us up til January the 1st, and therefore wildcard time. Also, I assume the ACON players will be off around this time as well.

    One more thing to consider; Toure's on 4 yellows, so a suspension is also hanging over his head. In my view, he's well worth the risk. If it doesn't work out you can get rid on January 1st anyway.
