I know I've complained about this before but I stopped drinking because people were insinuating I was an alcoholic. Even my best friend in the whole world. When I rang to tell her I was offered that new job she said something along the lines of "that's great lex. You should take it. No offence but youd have less time to be drinking". So, I'm practically two months not drinking. I gained serious weight when I stopped though. Which is weird because everyone said drinking makes you gain weight. It doesn't, at least not for me.

Anyway, I need a coat but any coat I try on makes me look like a manatee. So I'm too ashamed to wear a coat, and it's getting fairly cold.

So, I've started doing these protein shakes again, two shakes a day and one normal healthy meal, usually dinner. Except yesterday I was too sad to eat dinner and just had two shakes, wine and cider. And all night I was tossing and turning and not really in a proper sleep, dizzy and feeling sick.

2 months without drinking and 1 bottle of wine and 2 little bottles of cider is making me hungover to the high heavens.

Christmas shoppers. Ventured into the city with mam yesterday to pick up some presensts - is the world going to end or something? People are insane! Quick the recession is over - let's spend all our money!

When I can't get my leggings on in the morning after coming out of the shower because my legs are still damp. Drives me fricking nuts.

Oh and I also HATE IT when I pick up a cup and the coaster comes with it. Hate it even more when the coaster then falls off.

Excuse me while I check myself into a mental hospital.

Am I the only one driven properly nuts by all these shops being open 24/7? All day and all fcukan night people are "Shopping". How much shopping can folk do without needing an artic? How many poor sods are being traipsed around some God-blasted shopping centre somewhere at 8pm on a Sunday evening, assisting with Terribly Important Shopping? If I had my way they'd be open from 8am - 4pm Monday to Saturday, and firmly CLOSED outside of that. Enough al-fcukan-ready!!

No, I'm an unemployed socialist neckbeard transvestite disabled hipster with abandonment issues. What kind of a statement is that??

    Heh heh.

You only want shops open during working hours.

So when would people who are working do their shopping?

Shopping is a great stress relief. When our local tesco stopped being 24hrs and closed from 12am til 8am I actually felt a bit panicky even though I don't think I was ever in there between those hours anyway but it's always good to have the option

Im sure they open as there's demand there.

More a societal problem, too much retail therapy going on. You would think online shopping compensating would have these stores closing much earlier, but there you go.

This is the kind of bollocks I'm talking about. It's a grocery store, closing from midnight (that's right, fcukan midnight!!) until eight o'clock in the morning. Try to find a way to cope! :pac:

What if you can't sleep and want to buy a book?! Or you get a snapchat getting dumped at 4am and you have no ice cream? Or you're stressed out and go on a mad cleaning buzz only to remember you've no window cleaner!!! The possibilities are endless Jim! Endless!

This phenomenon of bringing your baby into work for a look. There's 2 women here, who both have kids of their own, and the squealing out of them, you'd swear they had never seen a baby before. Everytime the baby did anything, there was a squeal.
And then the baby being forced on you to hold.
    Yawn.

Android does it too KK, but you have to set it up when you download the app the first time to allow the app to update automatically. That way when you sign in on a new device, your apps are downloaded automatically to the new device.

One of the reasons though why people leave it turned off on low end Android devices is because they don't have much storage, and over time as the apps get bigger, they don't cleanly uninstall the old versions and leave a lot of garbage files behind, clogging up the phone and slowing it down over time.

iOS and Windows Phone don't have this problem as they're pretty strict about app development standards, whereas Android is more driven by the ability to customise the hell out of it, which makes it a popular phone OS for anyone who wants to learn how to get started in development, but makes it a pain in the proverbial for end users!

A very messed up girl who used to be friends with my boyfriend (thus tolerating me) who then turned on me, hacked my facebook, posted vile things online about me and left mutual friends too afraid to talk to me incase she did the same to them, started a tumblr account, has pretty much became an Internet sensation not condoning the very thing that made her hate me so much.

She has all these posts, all these followers who think she's amazing - and I'm sitting here, thinking about how that bitch left me too afraid to even go out in my own town, how her and my own "friend" bonded at that time in joint efforts to ruin my life. Mail my family on facebook saying vile disgusting things. And now she's talking to others about acceptance and being kind to each other? GTFO.

Resisting all urges to go absolutely nuclear on her but I would rather do it to her face, rather than behind a computer. She was never ever brave enough to confront me or run her hate campaign in person.

    I'm so angry. Fraud,

It would be a holy Cheeses terror if the NSA wandered across forged email from her...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, vintage Dr Who. Mr Pumpkinseeds is a bit of a Dr Who anorak and is currently watching an episode so old it has Sylvester whatever his name is as the Doctor. I can just about tolerate the current Dr Who, if I focus on him as Malcom Tucker from the Thick of It.

Since you're willing to work six days, can I pencil you in for our new superstore that will only be open Monday to Saturday?

I feel a volcanic reage erupting inside me just being reminded of this. And let's not forget all the jokes - "is he here for training?"/ "they're starting them younger all the time". I said this before but the issue really is not the act itself, it's the fact that it happens over and over and over every time someone new walks past. If we got all the cooing and gooing and work evasion and general hysteria surrounding the miracle birth over and done with in ten minutes, at least you could take your break then or something. but no, two hours later there'll be more people trickling in with their oohs and aahs.
