Definitely pay you to go with 10.10.20 especially when you have no slurry.

That's what were doing here. Going with 1.5 bags /acre..
Too often lads just see the price don't break it down into what there getting

At these sort of prices if just grazing yearlings would you nearly get away without fert. Was looking at a ton 10.10.20 for 10 acres I am thinking of just grazing with yearling bullocks from March to Nov and not taking a cut of silage of it.. Not sure if it is cost effective to spend €440/450 on a ton 10.10.20.

Early in the year 1/2 bag of Ureal/acre after that 18-6-12 if you want to follow the low cost route. Lime is the big question IMO the granlime/g-lime are as cost effective as ground lime. All the intensive lads will say different.

In all fairness oil has fallen by half this year and the Russian currency has done the same. In that time fert prices continue to rise. Their taking the piss, about time a politician from any party did something about it.
